Is Fafnir and Fing Fang Foom related ? No. Fafnir was king of the Asgardian land of Nostrand who was transformed by Odin into a dragon as punishment for his sins. Fin Fang Foom is a dragon-like alien from the planet Maklu-4.

I was referring to a book where both names are featured as writer like the Legion Of Superheroes had Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning as in the 90's- 2000's. Couldn't one of them write he book or does it imply that they both didn't have enough ideas to fill a book on a monthly basis? They did a great job. To me, there's no point to insist they write solo rather than as a team when the quality of the work is the point.

"Faf Nir Foom" would make a great character.

If memory serves me right, Dr. Strange, or maybe the Ancient One, claimed that should Dormammu breach the dimensional barrier and reach Earth, his magic would be too powerful to stop.
I've read a few Dormammu tales. Has he ever breached the dimensional barrier and come to Earth?
Also, I did read the classic story of him going toe-to-toe with Eternity. Given he's still around, I presume both entities survived, but I can't imagine Dormammu winning that one. What happened?
Thanks in advance.

Dormammu has breached the barrier between dimensions at least three times that I can recall (Dr. Strange #172-73, Marvel Feature #2, and Dr. Strange 7-9/Giant-Size Avengers #4) and was turned back each time (though in the first case it was because his own spell worked against him). As for his clash with Eternity in Strange Tales #146, Eternity whipped his butt good, exiling Dormy to another dimension where he remained until the aforementioned Dr. Strange #172
Cei-U! I summon Umar's big brudder!

Thanks for that.
I do love the character, visually and conceptually.

Does anyone know or care to guess when the first usage of the word 'Rao' occurred in a Superman comic?

Less of a comic book question but more of a site support question feel free to direct me to the right source if this isn't the place to ask such a question. But anyways....Do you have to be a certain status to create a new thread? Was thinking of creating one to discuss character evolution e.g. the difference between Superman's first appearances, his idealized version in my opinion, and his worst depiction in any medium for example. Though it would make for some interesting conversations if such a thread doesn't already exist. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Does anyone know or care to guess when the first usage of the word 'Rao' occurred in a Superman comic? Krypton's sun was named Rao in Superman #141 (1960).
Super Friends #47 (1981) established Rao as the Kryptonian God.
Superman started using the phrase "Great Rao" in the 1970's.

Thanks. Hm, interesting, I never would have suspected such a reveal within the pages of Super Friends.
