The reason I ask is that on FB, he seems to hawk a lot of the Deadpool items. Why should he if he wasn't wetting his beak?

I guess the electric eel powers didn’t catch on Briefly there was a period when he could adopt the ability of any creature in the ocean, such as the electric eel (despite the electric eel being a fresh water fish) or the puffer fish (which looked ridiculous). This power is never mentioned any more.

The electric eel things comes back from time to time (usually just as the ability to absorb and release electricity). I know Namorita used it a couple of times back in New Warriors and Namor used it in Busiek's Defenders.

Looking at "Wings on his Feet" from Sub-Mariner Comics #38, we see that Namor's wings manifested at age fourteen under stressful conditions. He and his mother had fallen into a crevasse in the Arctic and a panicking Namor instantly sprouts the famous flying appendages. They don't use the word "mutation," of course, but that seems to be what's going on. I remember an old Sub-Mariner Cartoon that he had "wings in his feet" ... here's an animated gif to prove that.

Have the Atlanteans and Asgardians ever had a war (or skirmish)?

Have the Atlanteans and Asgardians ever had a war (or skirmish)? Not that I'm aware of, and definitely not prior to 1986. It seems pretty unlikely, anyway. The Asgardians are significantly stronger and harder to injure than Atlanteans so, unless they were lured into the ocean, would have all the advantages in such a battle. And if some Asgardian magic wielder like Odin or Karnilla cast a spell allowing them to breathe underwater (or they borrowed the formula to Reed Richards' serum that accomplishes the same thing), even that small edge would be lost.
Cei-U! I summon the mismatch!

And you will notice that whenever Namor fought the Avengers he kept his distance from Thor.
