Im irrationally irritated by the younger generations that pay for a $1 coffee with a card. Seriously you don’t even have a dollar on you?!?! 🤣 Let me know where you can buy a coffee for a buck. It's not much more than that at Wawa.

Let me know where you can buy a coffee for a buck. It's not much more than that at Wawa. Good news, as the nearest Wawa is about 270 miles from me. I'm deep in Dunkin' Donuts territory. (Though I have gone to Wawa when I visit New Jersey.)

I remember when I was growing up and going to Ocean City, NJ for vacation, and that was the first time I'd ever heard of or seen a Wawa. It was right around the corner from our condo, and we always hit it up the afternoon we arrived in town to get milk and bread.
None of those out here in Western PA. We have Sheetz as our main convenience store option, although there are some 7-11 and Stop-&-Go stores around.

I grew up in Jersey and haven't lived there in almost 45 years. the first time I saw a Wawa was maybe 10 years ago, also down the shore (in Brick). I think they've spread to North Jersey now, too. BTW, the sophomoric among us (and I count myself proudly as one of them) can only imagine how much fun it is to be a kid who gets to make up all kinds of groaner puns and naughty remarks that involve the name of your coffee shop.

I love Dunkin', but I had a bad experience when trying to get hired. The manager stringed me along for months with the promise of "letting me join the dunkin' family" only to later tell me that they found someone else
I'm still pissed about it all these years later

During the day I listen to a 70's music app and the more I hear " Brand New Key" by Melanie, the more I'm convinced it's a dirty song.
There I said it.

You think that’s dirty, wait’ll you hear “Louie, Louie.” Dirty? Isn't it about turning teenagers into Satanists or communists or both? More subversive than anything else I think...
