Newsarama reporting that Jim Lee was having lunch with Jonathan Hickman, and once again, rumors of Hickman on the Legion.
I've liked what I've read of his and think he'd do a killer job with the Legion.
Anxiously awaiting !

I'm probably wrong, but if I had to put money on it, I'd guess it was more likely Hickman would be recruited to do one of the special projects in special formats with current A-list creators that Lee and Didio talked about at SDCC than a monthly book in the regular line-up. Could still be Legion, but I don't think Hickman will be on a regular in continuity book for DC unless he's changed his mond about not being tied down to monthly schedules for mainstream books so he has his options open for creator-owned projects.

Why the Legion specifically, I wonder - is he a fan of that title or some past run of it? He's mentioned a few times he is a fan of the Legion in interviews over the years and everyone assumed when he finished with Marvel he would go to DC to relaunch Legion, but he focused on wrapping up the creator-owned stuff he had going and I think took a little break. Now that he was seen having lunch with Jim Lee everyone assumes he's going to DC to do Legion now. It's all speculation at this point. -M |
