FANTASTIC FOUR REPLACEMENT
The POLL will lock on October 30th
What MEMBER of the FANTASTIC FOUR should be replaced with?
Personally, I don't think that the Human Torch don't belong in the Fantastic Four and should be replaced by
Sharon Ventura as She Thing so that the Thing and herself can work together in Unison and I would make an additional power for Invisible Woman that she can fly like the Human Torch to do recon and field work. I know most of you think I'm nuts and I have been thinking of this subject off and on in the past few weeks trying to come up with one replacement of the Fantastic Four and I chose the She Thing to replace the Human Torch. I do know that She Thing was a member one time and not a permanent one and I just saying that. She Thing is strong, durable, and rock like skin that she can relate to the Thing in a heartbeat. I've was a fan of this character when she first appeared in a Fantastic Four comic book.
I think a two couple approach would work and I was hoping that the Thing and She Thing gets married because they would so much in common in terms of powers and all that.
For another replacement for Human Torch would be Henry Pym and everyone here knows him and his ability to play any of these four characters would be beneficial for the Fantastic Four and would had chosen a dual combination of Ant-Man and Giant Man because these two would be excellent for a variety of reasons.
There is no right and wrong thinking here and I have selected the Human Torch to be replaced.
Grand Dictator for Life of the Classic Comics Christmas
I voted "None at all." If it ain't broke, don't fix it... and the FF ain't broke.
I summon one man's opinion!
What Cei-U! said. The weaving of Golden Age--or in Johnny Storm's case, Golden Age inspired--characters into what was the early Marvel was a wise idea, as they still had value as interesting contrasts to the Silver Age types of creations, hence the reason Sub Mariner and Captain America also made a big splash when added to the Silver Age universe. Johnny Storm certainly played that role in the FF, and above all else, nothing would ever replace his half-bickering. half-caring relationship with Ben. Perfect mix.

Thanks for the responses and I did this as an experiment and I expected these results here. Thanks for all input and extra thanks for Cei-U! & Slam_Bradley ... his statement "Challengers of the Unknown" is an excellent choice.
The only replacements I liked were She Hulk and Scott Lang Ant Man.
Agree with those 2 and also:
1) I know it was only a couple issues, but Luke Cage was an interesting Fish-Outta-Water FF member. 2) Spider-Man had a lot of history with the team, so when the Human Torch was taking a year dead for tax purposes Spidey filled his slot well. 3) The Brute!
I really wanted to like Medusa as FF member, but she was presented at her very blandest the whole time she was part of the team.
Characters I'd like to see as temporary swap-outs:
1) Captain America (for Mister Fantastic) 2) Agatha Harkness (For anyone) Great character, would be fun to see her in a more active role. 3) Molly from Runaways (for the Thing) 4) Elsa Bloodstone (For the Human Torch) Big Salem's 7 here, so I'd like to see a member push the FF in a more supernatural direction. 5) Kitty Pryde (For the Invisible Woman)

I voted "None of the above".
Temporary changes to any line-up are fine by me. Seeing another Autobot take over the leadership from Optimus Prime or having Robin lead the Outsiders while Bats recuperates is potentially a good story. In the case of the FF, though, I'd keep things as they are.
Replace The Thing with Thor. Replace the Human Torch with Iron Man. Replace Mister Fantastic with Ant-Man. Replace the Invisible Woman with the Wasp.
I know it seems crazy putting these four characters together but I think it could just work. I just need to come up with a good name ... how about the Revengers? No, that's not quite it - the Contenders, maybe? No - the Offenders? It's on the tip of my tongue ...
