It is on E4, which is a British channel, and not available in the states. But I read you might be able to catch it on BBCAmerica. But if you have Netflix, it is available on there. I will say this: some of the humor is perverted. I love it, but I would not let young children watch it. lol oh you in UK ? nice I know a lot about UK despite living in united states Me and my mom always say let's move to the UK if i did i would have you and your hubby as friends he into comic books at all ? Sorry! I thought I had specified I watched it on Netflix (I see I did not, though). I am not in the UK. It airs on E4 which is a British channel. ♡

Midnight diner -Tokyo stories on Netflix is charming! It's strikes me as the kind of series Jiro Taniguchi could have come up with.

Midnight diner -Tokyo stories on Netflix is charming! It's strikes me as the kind of series Jiro Taniguchi could have come up with. Based on a manga, wiki says. Thanks for mentioning it, I like the idea. I just watched the first episode of the Westworld tv-remake a few hours ago while opening my Christmas parcels. Very impressed, so far. Looks like a good one.

Westworld lives up to its rep, I'd say. Looking forward to the next series.
I'm now in the middle of the 2nd season of Dark Matter, Canadian SF series that I think is shown in the US as well. I like it. Not the most original show ever made, but it's solid SF adventure with an appealing cast, especially Melissa O'Neil as the leader and newcomer for season 2 Melanie Liburd as Nyx. Any science fiction fans will want to give it a shot.

My favorite TV Shows for the moment is Lt. Kenda - Homicide Hunter on Discovery Id. I also watch NCIS, Hawaii Five-O, and Supergirl too. I occasionally watch The Flash, NCIS Los Angeles, and NCIS New Orleans as well.

SEveral new TV series with comic creators attached have been announced. Ed Brubaker (who is also on the Westworld team) was just announced as part of the team behind Too Old to Die Young a crime series set in LA that is going to be on Amazon TV... article 1article 2he'll be working with director Nicholas Winding Refn, best known for Drive. Kelly Sue DeConnick just had a pilot for NBC greenlit based on a short story by Charlaine Harris and as noted in the animation section, Warren Ellis is working on a Castlevania animated series for Netflix. Interesting to see how some of these play out. -M

I just caught the first episode of Occupied on Netflix. Pretty intriguing start!
It's a political fiction thing, in which a near-future Norway, having decided to stop exploiting fossil fuels, is summarily forced by the EU to go back on its choice. And what better way to enforce Norway's compliance than having it invaded by a very eager Russia? (The United States have withdrawn from NATO and will not intervene).
Very chilling, and all the more efficient for the subdued tone used. I'll definitely watch the rest.

I wasn't terribly excited about Powerless when it was announced, particularly after they went back and retooled the entire concept of the show, but one night I had nothing else going on, so I watched the first two episodes and founs it isn't a bad little show.
I've watched the subsequent 3 episodes and while it won't win any awards or even likely be around in a year, I've gotten an honest couple of laughs out of each episodes, which is about all I expect out of most current comedies.

My wife was recording it on the DVR, and I was in the room while she watched the episode featuring the gadget inventing contest/building toys for the boss/cold villains plot and I thought it was painful to watch and terribly unfunny as every joke or gag was telegraphed a mile away and cliche or utterly predictable so not funny to me at all. Apparently she wasn't impressed either because after the episode she cancelled it's setting to record on the DVR. To each their own I guess. -M

I'm a little bummed, I finally caught up with Planet Earth II and it wasn't as nearly as great as its predecessor. The trailers really had me excited and I loved the first one but the end result is a lot of re-run footage that I've already seen in various other nature documentaries...even some of the voice overs are the same.

Westworld lives up to its rep, I'd say. Looking forward to the next series. Oh yeah. It's brilliant. I've watched it twice so far; once by myself as it aired, and once with my girlfriend, who also liked it a whole lot. I'm really enjoying the Amazon Prime original series The Man In The High Castle. I have two episodes left to go in season one. Sneaky Pete is another great Amazon Prime series. I got to enjoy a whole lot of really good TV while I was in the US visiting my girlfriend. I bought her an Amazon Fire TV box, so we watched a bunch of stuff with that. Unfortunately it doesn't work in Australia, but I bought a smart TV when I got home so I can at least enjoy some of the streaming services, like Netflix and Amazon Prime (although there's not as much content on the Australian versions, of course). If only we got Hulu as well!

If only we got Hulu as well! It's a really well-made show, but I thought there were a few bothersome holes and tics in the writing and I'm not sure they really have a solid overall story concept. However, the individual scenes are so well done, once of that bothered me while I was watching. Latest series I've watched is the first season of Letterkenny. Really clever and funny show about a rural Ontario town of the same name. Some of the best dialogue I've ever come across in a tv show: sometimes it's so fast and non-stop you want to rewind and listen again in case you missed something. Some of the gags are based on Canadian stuff but nothing that would be hard to catch on to - the small town hockey jocks being the most obvious. Anyone who's lived or spent time in any kind of rural area will especially appreciate and get an extra kick out of this series but I don't think its appeal would be in any way limited to a particular demographic. I really recommend seeking this out and giving it a shot, any way you can.
