Produced by Johnstone & Cushing, November 1960. The GCD notes "This is the earliest known comic book done entirely by Neal Adams."

I really want to post this. It's an internal comic book from National Lampoon. If TPTB deem it as invalid, I will give it a disclaimer, but I am still posting it. If that were allowed, I'd definitely go with this one, though it's not an entry:

Mediascene #20 (July-August, 1976).
In case the Mediascene cover cannot qualify, I'll post my alternate--
Power Records Book & Record - Star Trek: A Mirror for Futility / The Time Stealer (1976).

Aurora Comics Scenes 181-140 Great choice--one of the first Adams covers I considered.

Mediascene #20 (July-August, 1976).
Not sure if that qualifies as a comic. Mediascene was a glorified fanzine covering film, books and comics, among other things. Impressive cover, though.

Power Records #PR-25 (1975): This one stood out because I recognized that creature--the little kitty's kin made an earlier appearance in the Aquaman/Deadman crossover in AQUAMAN #51 [NOT THE ENTRY!]:

ACTION COMICS #485Though I don't think you can pick a wrong cover for this one, I went with Action #485 since I believe that it actually improves upon an earlier classic of his. Adams had a reputation in later years for tinkering with his older work in ways which didn't improve upon the originals. I think this one - for the change in perspective - is an exception. Plus, it was one of my first Adams covers which I picked up as a kid about 30-something years ago, so it feels fitting.
just an FYI-- quoting from the rules in the first post--
"Post a Neal Adams-penciled comic book cover--but here's the catch: no DC or Marvel covers (or DC/Marvel-sponsored promotional comics). And let's omit Fantagraphics' Amazing Heroes too, since IMHO that's not really a comic book. YMMV"

Hmm... Farrar, I need a call on the Mediascene cover.

Star*Reach #2 (Star Reach Productions, 1975) NSFW {Spoiler: Click to show}
Neal channeling Esteban Marato. Before he did a hatchet job on Cinco Por Infinito, as Zero Patrol. Oy!
