Congrats to Farrar. As to tartan's point, isn't there a list of all the winners, curious if this cover has won multiple times. I suppose other covers have as well.
I don't know what "winner" means in this game, besides getting the most votes, since there's no strict rubric for the "best" cover.
I always looked at it as the one I find most aesthetically pleasing, or one that gives a fun twist on the category.

I wonder if these factors were just accepted in this era more than today. There's a certain Image founder who would get savaged if he produced this today. I won't mention his name... |
