I can't honestly think of anything from the Big Two that I don't already have or want; besides, I've literally got thousands of issues to catch up on. When I get my collection sorted, YES this summer !, I'll know what holes to fill and that's mostly it. In the last couple of months I've even weaned away from the comics news sites I used to go to daily, like CBR or Newsarama, and the occasional Comics Beat.
They've screwed themselves. I like some of the fresh indies, but even those I have to catch up reading. Love the TwoMorrows' Jack Kirby Collector, Back Issue, and Alter Ego, but need to catch up on those too.
I haven't felt real Marvel love since the 80's and was with DC up until Levitz left, and it's been downhill since then, and now, I'm out.
Oh yeah, gotta get caught up on Valiant. Still like their superhero reads, plus Dark Horse's Black Hammer-verse.

I'm only reading my hardcore favorites, which DC isn't publishing now, like LSH, JSA, Freedom Fighters, Hawkman, Shazam, Jonah Hex, and I'd probably still wait and get them when they inevitably go on sale on Comixology.

The Golden Age was great, but it doesn't compare to 80's DC.
Even some of the stuff that seemed not-that-great at the time holds up pretty well, like Arak or Atari Force or Jemm Son of Saturn.

This is the closest and most difficult vote for me, but despite the historical significance of the 60's, my heart belongs more to the 70's, and Marvels were some of my first comics.

Marvel was still actually good back then but it was a mixed bag for both publishers.
Marvel - Daredevil, X-Men, Thor, Byrne's Fantastic Four, Epic Illustrated, Bizarre Adventures, Micronauts, Rom, the Wolverine mini, the early Marvel graphic novels, the Hulk, Iron Man, the Lee / Byrne Silver Surfer and the Lee / Moebius Silver Surfer micro-series
DC - Justice League, Superman & Action, All Star Squadron, Legion of Super-Heroes, Jonah Hex, New Teen Titans, Night Force, Phantom Zone, Blackhawk, Swamp Thing, Sgt Rock, Crisis on Infinite Earths, the Man of Steel mini, Batman : The Dark Knight Returns, Watchmen, Adventures of Superman, the Flash, Batman Year One
They were both doing well with certain titles, but IMO it's still clearly DC ahead, and that margin only gets wider in the 90's

Love Levitz / Giffen and later v4 Giffen. Even though I hated losing my "darker" Legion after Zero Hour, I loved the Archie Legion with Legion of Super-Heroes, Legionnaires, and L.E.G.I.O.N. / R.E.B.E.L.S. in DCU present. The 90's were a great time to be a Legion reader.

I wasn't around when Shooter was active, but I'm sure those issues back then were thrilling. Some big stuff happened ! but they're more curiosities now IMO. The title really started to come into its own when Superboy left, and kicked into high gear with the Great Darkness Saga and later with the Baxter series.

Nope.
I have always had a lifelong love affair with comics and have not had enough time to read what I have bought, but once I get my collection catalogued, that will change.
Going to be selling some as well.
