Along with tormenting Icc for never having seen The Warriors. Geooooorge, come out and play, click click Geoooooorge.... HOW have he never seen the Warriors ?? the Baseball Furies are such easy cosplay, I see some of them at every convention (and often on Halloween) Icctrombone - you need to fix that. Tartan Phantom and I brought up the Furies and verbally hit Icc over the head with the proverbial weapon of choice of the Furies LOL

Spaghetti or Lasagna? Which One? Likes me some (as my nephew called it) Pasghetti, loaded with lots of cheeses (your choice) making it gooey deliciousness. Alternate when cooking it up with meatballs and crumbling up the browning meat. Prefer with a light touch of sauce, not drowning in it please. Maybe extra garlic one time, next add mushrooms another time onions another time just pasta with sauce. So many ways to enjoy...

Black Sheep Squadron is fun. Iconic planes, classic misfit goof-ups led by someone who is always thinking he knows more than the command leadership. But all doing their patriotic duty stopping the bad guys. Ehile drinking, laughing and chasing the ladies of course.
Rat Patrol is another favorite with a small group of men traversing Africa in their pair of jeeps confounding and fighting the German tank Corp during WW II. Nice quick half hour action/adventure.

Greetings! My name's Brian, I've been on and off the site at various times, but this screen name, reflecting comics and 'Doctor Who' as two of my interests, is a 'regeneration' I plan on keeping! My main era of interest in comics is mainly Bronze Age, running a few years into 'post-Crisis DC', 'post-Shooter Marvel', and even 'post-Jellybean Jughead!' I piled up quite a few titles from 1978-93, starting roughly around 'Superman vs. Muhammad Ali' at age 4, and deciding to stop when Harry Osborn died. Lots of 'spinner rack memories' along the way! Welcome aboard the good starship CCF. You should fit right in with the rest of us misfits who love the spinner rack goodness. If you want to see the faces behind the unique names we have a Zoom group you can participate with. Usually every Sunday or so around 1pm East Coast time, and 10am West Coast time. Look forward tour further posts here.

3:15am is spook time, have you heard 3 knocks on the walls?
Don't scare me... Be worried if there is 3 knocks on the ceiling. Means the ghosts of Tony Orlando and Dawn want you...to take you away. Bwahahahahahahahaha

Come across a comic strip related television series I never knew existed. Woke early this morning flipping channels and on Decades TV every Saturday morning 4am-5am they run Steve Canyon. The 2 season 1947/48 1/2 hour show starring Dean Frederick. Became an instant record for me until i can get all 22 episodes. Rather typical slower paced show but made with the assistance of the USAF. So will be plenty of classic (then modern) airplane filming to enjoy. Has a certain charm of those early years of television with plenty of instantly recognizable movie and TV star faces, if not names.
