Couldn't participate this week due to internet problems-- namely that my parents internet has been down for six weeks, but they would have never noticed unless I visited for the holidays-- but I'll throw in my vote for Icctrombone. Almost went for the cover of 1941, which is an adaptation that's a lot better than the movie, mostly because Veitch was running wild with his painting.

An off-topic aside: I agree that the 1941 adaptation is as good as--maybe not better-- than the movie, which is a favorite of mine just for the look from the cinematography and art direction. the book is full of energy, and I love the way they used collage. Veitch and Steve Bissette were working together a lot at this time and doing some fun, wild stuff.
