Technically not part of the Super-family, right? Well, that's my story.

Thank you mrp for putting this up! Now, we're cooking! And I'm in with one of my favorite hardcovers DC ever put out, which launched a brilliant and short lived series...... That was so good. Much as I loved Ordway on Supes, I loved his Big Red Cheese so much !

One of my newest acquisitions makes a good entry - even his uniform colors match Superman's!

So many great choices, but I'm gonna vote for the obscure Aparo awesomeness brought by mwgallaher.

I would never have guessed that it was an Aparo cover. It looks like a Ditko piece. Probably because Jim's cover was for a Ditko-drawn interior story. Ditko's costume design sense shines through powerfully in that character, doesn't it? This week I'm voting for Action Ace. E. E. Hibbard's Golden Age Flash work fascinates me because of his heavy use of blacks. One wouldn't think that such a dark scheme would work on a character as "light" as the Flash--and I'm not entirely certain it really does--but it gave a distinctive vibe to the comic, that's for sure.

I'm voting for MatthewP's Captain Midnight cover.
Now if only Captain Midnight had a pet monkey...
