Best Will Ferral Films 1. Elf 2. The Lego Movie 3. Anchorman 4. Old School 5. Blades of Glory Agree with your top four. I liked Talladega Nights and Step Brothers when those came out as well. I'm the only person I know who didn't like Talladega Nights. I never did get around to seeing Step Brothers, but I heard good things. Will Ferrell (got the right spelling this time) has got to be the most uneven comedian I've ever seen. Half the time he's brilliant, and half the time I find him unwatchably unfunny. I find that fascinating.

I don't like Talldega Nights either, but then with the possible exception of the cowbell skit on SNL, I find Will Ferrell unwatchably unfunny 99.9% of the time. -M

Great list here and the only monster that I'm not familiar with is your number #4 on this list.

Not that it's intended to primary be a comedy but Everything Must Go is my favorite Will Ferrell movie.

Jesse ... I did not know that there were over ten Friday the 13th movies out there. I only seen a small handful of them and surprised to see 12 films listed and shocked seeing that.

I think he's a lot better in small roles and voice work, the former tying in to skit-work when he was on SNL. The only film in which he starred that I've ever cared for is Anchorman. And I haven't really wanted to see it more than the once.

1. Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981) - Best protagonist of the entire series. Damn clever, and a great actor during the scream scenes. Even if Jason never actually scared me, her intensity felt real. 2. Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) -- The only one that actually succeeds in making me jump out of my seat...and on several occasions. 3. Friday the 13th Part III (1982) -- It blurs together a bit too much with the other early installments, but it's fun 4. Friday the 13th (1980) -- Used to think this one was brilliant until I realized there were absolutely no clues given in advance to suggest the big twist ending. Total cheat. Still a solid film. 5. Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988) -- It's just fun seeing a protagonist who can actually fight back. Felt more like the best of the Elm Street films than a Friday the 13th, but I like it all the same. I really have no use for any of the other Jason films beyond those.

Okay, best Elm Street films?
1. A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987) 2. A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988) 3. A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) 4. A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985) 5. Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991) 6. A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child (1989)
Note: I've never seen New Nightmare, Freddy vs. Jason, nor the reboot. I'm sure all of those would rank above The Dream Child.

Ranking of MechaGodzilla Films
1) Godzilla against MechaGodzilla (2002) 2) Godzilla versus MechaGodzilla (1974) 3) Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla (*) 4) Godzilla: Tokyo SOS (2003)
5) Terror of Mechagodzilla (1975) 6) Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II (1983)
(*) In Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla, it's revealed that MechaGodzilla remains were salvaged and used to construct M.O.G.U.E.R.A
The Bottom Two Movies - I just watched the Terror of MechaGodzilla last night and I was very disappointed in that film and I felt it was poorly made and the script isn't that good. Right now, the 2002 film is better than the original movie made back in 1974 of where MechaGodzilla is used correctly and it's took Godzilla and King Caesar to defeat him. The 1983 film is a joke and I just don't care for it.

Star Trek Films
From (10 Films) Year 1979 to 2002; I'm not including Star Trek (2009), Star Trek into Darkness (2013), and Star Trek (2016). I'm not a fan of the reboot films the last 4 movies made.
TOP TEN IN ORDER
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986) Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) Star Trek Generations (1994) Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) Star Trek: Insurrection (1998) Star Trek: First Contact (1996) Star Trek: Nemesis (2002)
I have watched all of these films in the past 48 hours and watched Voyage Home and Khan twice to determine top film. The Nemesis Film is my worst and I didn't care for it. Generations, The Undiscovered Country, and Insurrection were difficult to place in order and I had to Generations on top.

- Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989)
