He must have left his X-ray vision in his other suit. Unless he was using it to look at something else. . .

In a similar vein... Couldn't find a good shot of the Flash from JLA 36 with his legs melded into one. The cover doesn't really capture it too well. BTW, inside, Ga isn't paralyzed; he has no arms. I wonder if that was considered too lurid for the cover.

I can see Gloria Steinem turning in her grave. And she's not even dead.

Bad horsey. That was when editorial had no idea what to do with Wonder Woman. After the lengthy Diana Prince era, they did 3 issues of regular Wonder Woman comics before doing a year of rehashed Golden Age stories, until they finally settled on a more JLA-centric approach.

Wonder Woman had less total issues that Batman and Superman but must have had a higher percentage of goofy covers than either.

Wonder Woman had less total issues that Batman and Superman but must have had a higher percentage of goofy covers than either. Sadly true. In some ways it almost seems to be cruel to make fun of them. Kind of like with the Spamalot musical, where one of the songs had a line about a diva "constantly replaced by Britney Spears". During Britney Spears' major melt-down period, they changed the lyrics in that song to take out the reference to her because she was so pitiful at that point that making fun of her just wasn't funny. It came off as cruel. As Eric Idle said, "Because we don't laugh at sad people".
