Seems it got deleted but the pirates thread was right below the Captain Britain as of the time I posted above. No biggie now.

Seems it got deleted but the pirates thread was right below the Captain Britain as of the time I posted above. No biggie now. Whenever I add a new update, the oldest one gets bumped off. I try to reflect the diversity of the forum, so if I included a classic cover contest (I honestly forgot I did), that's not a regular thing. Occasionally, I'll put one up again, of course, but not every week.

I think it looks great and I've definitely noticed the diversity.

Not intended as criticism as I see no problem, but I do have a wry observation:
Your last three posts are all quite presumptuous and I find myself responding to them with, "You don't know me."
"You think you've read EVERY Star Wars comic, huh?" No, of course not. There are like a billion Star Wars comics. Who could have read them all.
"We all know the story from Avengers #4, but most of us have never explored Cap's early solo adventures that followed" I would have assumed most of us have. I kind of assume plenty here have read most of the major stuff from Silver Age Marvel. Spider-Man, Dr. Strange, Fantastic Four, Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Nick Fury, Avengers... these seem a basic common canon for superhero fans, as many here are.
"...a genre you never paid much attention to!" While this one happens to be correct for me, and likely many... you're still assuming a lot about what comics I do and don't read.

Anyone else annoyed/offended/alienated by these posts? I claim to be none of those 3. Just a wry observation. It's a common and effective style widely used on facebook. It's increased traffic a ton for us and (I believe) broadcasts a more personal/conversational tone that represents the community for which we're advertising.

I kind of like it. Sure, like Coke & comics, most of what you're saying in your posts doesn't specifically apply to me -- for instance, I don't think I've read every SW comic (I've only about 90% of them! ) and I've also read Cap's Silver Age solo adventures before --, but your posts are clearly intended as broad, "one-size-fits-all" invitations to discussion. The inclusive tone of them is (I assume) very welcoming to people who perhaps haven't contributed to the forum yet and that's a good thing! I say keep on keepin' on.

Since I've updated my screen name since the front page added my Captain America review thread with my original screen (and real) name, would it be possible to make the adjustment there?

I have been here for a year and half - sort of speak and I find the
Featured Review Threads
Are pretty well known to us right now and I would like that long list of Review Threads taken out and put more of the hottest threads that I find in the middle portion of the Home Page to grow and those threads are more relevant to us and the Featured Review Threads that been over-exposed too much.
To me, it's about time to rethink this and expand the Hottest Threads instead of the threads that everyone been visiting and making comments about so that it's more important to us than the review threads been sitting there for a very long time and quite known to us.
There are over 20-30 of them and I feel it's time to remove them from the Home Page.
That's my take on the Home Page of CCF.

so that it's more important to us than the review threads I think you'll find many here who don't believe that's the direction we should be headed in. However, if you'd like to suggest how to define "the hottest threads" and what that list should look like, it may be possible to give it its own space on the front page. My guess is that evaluating which threads are "hot" and which are not is likely to cause some hurt feelings and controversy though. If you mean expanding upon what's in the center column of the home page, that would not be possible since it feeds from our facebook page. I also think variety is a good thing to have on a front page, and that section is already getting the prime real estate, so to speak.

Hottest Threads are difficult to determined only the Staff here and You can determined that and having said that ... I was hoping that you can come up with another half dozen or so threads that are worthy to look at. However, we can't determine it and with that knowledge in place I think it better to be left alone.
