Specifically, I think Darkseid and his setting of Apocalypse is the single greatest Kirby DC creation. I know some would argue, but it wasn't until Darkseid that DC had a powerful villain that was close to being as impressive or as menacing as Doctor Doom.

Limiting it to his 1970s DC creations that had ongoings (as opposed to things like the Green Team or Atlas in one-offs in First Issue Special)as the poll does skews how I would vote on this, but of the choices here, I would have to go with the Demon-I haven't read enough Kamandi and Omac to pick them and I tend to think of the Fourth World as a single creation so it's hard to separate out New Gods, Mr. Miracle, and the Forever People for me. -M Green Team is Joe Simon. You're thinking the Dingbats of Danger Street. The latter of which I've, er, never actually read. But I'm sure it'll turn up in the fifty cent bins someday!
I'm a HUGE Mister Miracle fan, so I'd vote Mister Miracle. It feels like the most personal and the most emotional - definitely the most lovie dovie - of Kirby's '70s DC works.

Specifically, I think Darkseid and his setting of Apocalypse is the single greatest Kirby DC creation. I know some would argue, but it wasn't until Darkseid that DC had a powerful villain that was close to being as impressive or as menacing as Doctor Doom. The downside (new villain: Daunseid) to that is that Darkseid has become increasingly separated from the context of the original story within which he resonates most strongly as a character. And the other characters from that story are usually set aside to make way for the more popular DCU heroes, which would make me lose much of the interest I'd have had in reading it even if Darkseid wasn't written so badly or used as a punching bag for Superman, as he is all too often. edit: I rank the DC Kirbys as follows: 1. Fourth World (New Gods + Mister Miracle + Forever People 2. OMAC 3. Demon 4. Kamandi But be warned that I'm almost certainly in the minority by ranking Kamandi last.
