I liked this one as a kid and I still think it's kind of funny.

I loved stop motion as a kid and still do, there's just something about all that effort, devotion, time, and pure craftsmanship that I just adore. Some of my personal favorites are The Mouse & The Motorcycle, Paddington Bear, and pretty much everything George Pal

to echo the faves of others, I'll always adore the gifts 2 us from Harryhausen, O'Brien, Danforth (yayyyyyy EQUINOX!), but even love Planet of Dinosaurs. the claymation in the Czech indie version of Faust, in the 80's, was pretty choice, too

We've been on a Laika kick recently - watched Coraline, Boxtrolls, and Kubo and the Two Strings, and enjoyed them all. The behind-the-scenes features on the cds are amazing too.

Marvel just released this stop motion animated short to tease the upcoming "Edge of Venomverse". Can't say I'm looking forward to the event but this was a neat little teaser.

Coraline was fantastic! I thought the buttons sewn into the eyes of people in Other World was super creepy. I haven't watched Boxtrolls but I've heard good things about it. How was Kubo and the Two Strings?

Robot Chicken released two trailers at SDCC this year. One for season 9 and the other for their Walking Dead special both look hilarious.

Recently I watched a show on Viceland called Nuts + Bolts and the first episode is about stop motion animation. Viceland has made the entire episode available to watch for free on their official youtube channel. There's an interview with Henry Selick who directed James and the Giant Peach, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline. There's also a tour of Stoopid Buddy Stoodios who produce Robot Chicken on Adult Swim. Another interview with Gino Roy features an animated short he did for Disney called Cranes in Love that I thought was pretty cool.
