So I've got a stack of non-Big 2 recent first issues (perhaps even some 2nd and 3rd ones) I don't really have much interest in.. .would that be something people would be interested in trading? Possibly, can you post a list? I am in the process of putting together another purge pile of stuff to post here. -M |

I'm thinking of putting a huge list of books on the this thread. the problem is, I don't have a lot of money for the postage to send to everyone. How does everyone feel about reimbursing me the postage once you get the comics? You're certainly allowed to ask for such compensation, but expecting it is a tricky situation. Officially, the CCF cannot be held responsible if someone fails to pay, underpays, or overpays, nor will we discipline a member or allow that member to be maligned or verbally abused in such a circumstance. And one bad deal, leading to tensions arising, will result in this thread being permanently locked. So please, tread carefully |

For what it's worth, I've seen buy/sell sections work out well on other forums I frequent. So long as everyone goes in understanding that the forum staff are not responsible for anything, and that the parties involved have to work it out among themselves if things go south, sales/trade transactions can go off without problems. If you use PayPal, you can send money (for a small fee) and indicate that it's for a purchase which will provide you some level of protections if you're dealing with someone you don't know. Otherwise, if you trust the other person then you can send to friends for free.
I think it also helps when most of these transactions are among individuals with a certain amount of history on a forum. I'd be a little skeptical of someone who had few posts to their name but came on and were suddenly very active in sales/trade threads, as opposed to someone I've seen with a history of active participation on a forum.

Ok so I am purging a ton of books, which I will be listing some here over the next week or so, the list will update as I go through things. If anyone is interested in stuff, let me know. Trades if you have stuff are fine, if not we can still figure something out so drop me a note if interested, they are looking for a good home...though I may ask international posters to help defray shipping costs if it is a give-away as shipping to Canada, Europe and elsewhere has gotten outrageously expensive.
