I didn't mention the Alan Moore stuff or the Warren Ellis stuff, because the OP asked what was good at Image besides those two, which he already knew about. They were awesome books, but don't help Repti find stuff to read he wasn't already familiar with.

I really liked most everything Wildcats. The only series I didn't read was the third volume, though it was not in the 90's. But if you don't care for the 90's style, as the term is coined, you may not like it. Though you are asking for stuff in the 90's so I guess you do like some of it. Travis Charest's art won me over when I saw issue #17 on a spinner rack, and collected the previous issues, and followed it till it ended. Though I found that the last quarter or the series or so wasn't near as good as what proceeded.
Union, a five issue (including #0) mini series by Mike Heisler and Mark Texeira was good. It's a pretty basic story line, with no recognizable Image characters, but I enjoyed, and read it often. It's worth a read at the price it's probably going for now. There was a second series a year later or so, but I never read it.

I was nuts about the entire America's Best Comics line. Pound for pound, that was the best line being put out at the time. It was put out by Wildstorm after they had gone to DC though. It was pitched and the initial legal work was done while Wildstorm was still an Image imprint, but the books didn't come out until after the move to DC.

Huh. I know that Moore wasn't thrilled about the move, but I hadn't remembered that ABC was always DC. I'm sure he wouldn't have signed up with Wildstorm if he had known.

But he had already signed with Wildstorm before Lee sold out to DC. Moore might have been able to back out of the deal (he also might not have) but he didn't want to screw Lee and the creators he had lined up to work on the books. Lee did what he could to keep DC out of ABC and Moore's business, but wasn't always successful. There was the LoEG #5 recall. And the Cobweb story that was scrapped from Tomorrow Stories #8

And the Cobweb story that was scrapped from Tomorrow Stories #8 Lee also set up a holding company so Moore and his collaborators wouldn't recieve payment directly from DC. I don't think that was actually necessary, but Moore did appreciate the gesture.

Even though the title began in 2000, the Joe Casey Mister Majestic run (only 6 issues) was old school Superman at its finest.

It was more than 6 in any case, but I think the last few were by Brian Holguin and not Casey, so the TPB just has the first six.

Mr. Majestic has quite the pedigree for such a small character BTW (at least when it comes to solo-stories): a Alan Moore one-shot, a short series by Casey and a short series by Abnett and Lanning.
As for Image in the 90s, I quite liked Chuck Dixon and Aron Wiesenfeld's Team 7 (though not its sequels). A short 4 issue mini-series which worked really well as a standalone story for a story meant to be basically the core of the Wildstorm Universe's history at the time.
