That loss is from the last two weeks? That's really good. One of my goals is to lose enough weight to do ten pullups. I tried today and couldn't quite do one good one. If I lose 30 to 40 more pounds, though, I think that's achievable. No way. The over all is 12 pounds. The last 2 weeks is about 5. That's still not bad.

Weighed in at 205.2 this morning. I'm down 12.8 pounds this cycle. I discovered online how to make a low calorie pizza and I've been eating it the last 2 days. less than 500 calories for a large portion. I haven't had a drink in 13 days. Alcohol is poison that stops your liver from burning fat.

Weighed in at 203.4 this morning. That’s about 15 pounds down since the start.

I've been stuck hovering around 204. I changed my workout routine a little, and I've actually made a little bit of strength gain, which has been a rare occurrence in the past couple decades (sometimes the knowledge that the rest of my exercising life is now working hard just to maintain can be demoralizing). So I altered my diet to err on the side of gains, at least until I plateau again (which will be soon enough, I'm sure). Realistically, my stricter diet was probably not harming my strength goals, but to paraphrase Rumsfeld, you go to the dinner table with the insecurities you have, not the insecurities you wish you had.

Weighed in at 201.6 this morning. Eating well but with more veggies and watching my calories. That makes it about 17 pounds lost since I got serious a few months ago.

We're going on vacation next week, with some traveling. I think my return to a strict diet is going to wait a week. I guess the good news is that my body's comfortable weight seems to have gone down from around 215 to around 205. And I haven't woken up with chest pain in weeks.

I'm still recovering from the vacation, so I'm not stepping on a scale for another week, when I'm pretty sure I can be under the 204 I was the last time I weighed in. On the plus side, I doubled my pull-up count to 2. I'm also slowly adding some stretching so that motorcycle riding isn't so concerning. I'm prone to leg cramps, and even though it's never happened, I want to do everything I can to ensure I don't get a cramp during a long ride (yeah, this is a weight-loss thread, but weight loss goes hand-in-hand with overall health).
My "diet" is feeling less like a diet. Ever since I stopped over-cooking my morning eggs and found the right mix of ingredients for lunch and snacks, I'm not craving any diet relief. The only wildcard is dinner, which ranges from healthy to moderately healthy. Good enough.

Well done. I’ve been stuck at the same weight for the last 3 weeks around 202. I’m not proud about it , I’ve been eating off plan too much.

Today I weighed in at 197.6. That’s about 21 pounds down from my heaviest this year (218). I using this cycle to learn how to eat properly. I’m not cutting out any food groups . I eat bread , potatoes and even desserts. It’s about the total calories.

I started the year at my heaviest ever, tipping the scales at 246.4 pounds. The first week of January, someone at work told me they were doing a “biggest loser” contest, so I threw my $1 into the pot (big spender, I know) and played along. Even after the contest ended 10 weeks later, I kept going with my plan of eating better, getting my steps in, and trying to portion control.
This past Monday, I weighed in at 224.4 lbs, the lowest I’ve been in 8 years. Trying to reach 215 by the end of the year, but as fall approaches, the chances to get out on my bike or do any hiking grow slimmer.

201 at my last weigh-in, down 3 pounds from a month ago. I'm not stepping on a scale again until I'm reasonably sure I'm under 200.
