My General Week Starting Sept 28thMonday - No Workout Tuesday - Water Polo Match A - 2pm to 3:30pm Wednesday - Walking the Track Thursday - Water Polo Match B - 9am to 10:30am Friday - Short Swim / Walking Saturday - No Workout Sunday - 10 Laps of Swimming I just came from a meeting and they advises all Water Polo Players to avoid working out on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the Fall Season Play. They said to me, that you will be losing an average of 2 pounds a week during this time period! It's all set and ready to go and picked up my Swim Cap with number 1. There are two Number 1 in my squad, I'm the starter and I have my own backup and he wears the identical Swim Cap too. They also know that I'm deaf/hard of hearing and they have signals for all of us to learn and I have a full understanding of them. They wanted to take advantage of my speed and strength. Because I can go extremely quick in short bursts. Looking forward to it. If I haven't said it lately, I think this is SO cool!

Wow. Sounds like something your body/mind needed to do. Sort of. But it was also kind of like, the map made it seem like the destination was right over there, only it was actually three miles away. What I thought from the map was a little town park ended up being a 150 acre forest. But it was a pretty cool walk, anyway.

I am 209 today down-2 from yesterday. It's time to shed the 5 pounds that I always gain when I go on vacation. Lots of turmoil going on in the home, but that's life. I have to get my eating under control. I have a short term goal of under 200 for November 1st.

Sorry to hear there is turmoil, but I have no doubt that this can be the week when you make your goals happen. When my home life was in turmoil, that was when I found the resolve to begin the trend I'm still on now. The need for purpose and for doing something that makes you feel good about yourself is more critical than ever. This can be your week.

Day 122
Today's weigh-in: 230 lbs (-0 from yesterday, still at all-time low)
35 lbs down / 50 to go
This is where I start to worry. For the last two weeks I have lost 1 lb a week, which is much less than I was losing before. Two weeks ago, my metabolism was screwed up from having alcohol and from trying to cut green tea out of my diet in the evenings. Last week, I lost Monday due to being stranded in NY. So I had really really hoped that, being back to an average week and completely sticking to the diet, I could get back to losing weight faster again, but here we are, four days into the week, and all I've managed to do is lose the weight I put on over the weekend when I went off-diet. If I finally lose a lb tomorrow, then I will have lost 1 lb again this week. That is just too slow a pace for someone looking to lose 50 more lbs.
Up until now, this has been the perfect situation for me. I've been comfortable with the sacrifices required to lose weight at the rate I've been losing. But I can't safely and comfortably consume fewer calories than I already am during the week, I don't have the time nor motivation to get into regular exercise, and I don't think I can handle not being allowed to cheat on the weekends when I'm with friends and family. Perhaps I can try to cheat a little less.
I don't know. I'm just very disappointed this morning. Maybe my body will hit me up with a pleasant surprise and drop two lbs tomorrow morning. Unlikely, seeing as how I already practically breath green tea in order to speed up my metabolism, but that would be a major relief if it happened.

Reminder I'm not going to be working out today and I have many club meetings to attend today and I will get a weight report sometimes tomorrow.

Tonight's been rough. This has been the first week ever that I have done absolutely zero cheating/indulging. I've been 100% on diet with no deviations and, after four days of that, I was feeling positively weak and starving. So, for only the third time in 122 days, I went for my nuclear option -- a raw clove of garlic. Stomach feels ill and it wasn't the most pleasant thing to get down, but the hunger is gone.
I'd better be 228 tomorrow after all this...

Day 123
Today's weigh-in: 230 lbs (-0 from yesterday, still at all-time low)
35 lbs down / 50 to go
This makes no damn sense. This is the best I've EVER done with my diet. I have worked extremely hard this week, and yet I lost NO weight this week for the first time in well over a month? How can that be happening???
I really and truly don't know how to respond to this. It just doesn't make any sense at all.

You're body is adjusting to your eating and it will come off slower( provided it's real weight and not water, and waste). You're doing good, I think you're just spoiled. 35 pounds in 123 days is great. If you lose a pound a week it will still be worth it.
