I had a couple of car repairs yesterday and today and unable to go the gym - I will try tomorrow and I was excused from Water Polo today. I will weigh myself tomorrow after a 5 mile walk around the track.
Had a new water pump installed and a couple worn out hoses replaced.

Filling yourself up with water will make you want eat less, but I want to enjoy my food. it seems like a taste bud killer.

Day 155
Today's weigh-in: 227 lbs (-1 lb from yesterday, +2 from all-time low)
38 lbs down / 47 to go
Pretty sure I would have made it to 225 lbs this morning if I'd waited a little longer, but I went spartan yesterday and woke up at 12:30 am completely unable to go back to sleep because I was so damn hungry. I tried and tried to hold on, but I didn't want to wreck my Friday, so I went down to the kitchen and ate. Knowing my metabolism schedule, I'm pretty sure I would have been between 225 and 226 today if I'd been able to hold out for three more hours, but I just couldn't.
Ah well. I'll go below 225 next week if I'm determined enough, and that's fine with me. Considering that I ate recklessly for five days and only dieted for the last two, being back to 227 really isn't that bad.

It's taken 2 weeks, but I've juuuuust squeezed through to a new low, by the finest of margins, at 185.8. Hoping for rather more than 0.2 lbs over the next 2 weeks!

Weigh-in on Sunday, October 11, 2015: 224.5 lbs Target Weight by December 31, 2015: 217 lbs (I have to be realistic, particularly with the holiday season around the bend, and if I beat my target, hooray for me). Quick update on progress over the past two weeks. I've made it to the gym five times since October 11, which is pretty good seeing as I was traveling for work this week and wasn't able to go three days. Ate a little too much at my team's annual offsite retreat, as the folks I had assigned to make the meals did a REALLY good job. That said, the results: Weigh-in on Saturday, October 24, 2015: 223.5 lbs (down 1 lb) Pounds left to lose to hit December 31 target: 6.5 lbs

9/20: 244.8# 9/23: 244.8# 9/27: 246.2# 10/4: 244.4# 10/8: 242.6# 10/14: 241.0# after a week of eating Salads every day for lunch (with a piece of Gefilte Fish and a chopped egg for protein) and only drinking water (no soda) to counteract the terrible eating I did last weekend, I got up the nerve this morning to hop on the scale: 10/24: 235.2# very proud of myself, and although it has taken 4 weeks, I'm down just about 10lbs from starting weight

hoping I can keep it up.. at least until next Sat, since I'm spending Halloween at a Movie Marathon at the Alamo Drafthouse (Dismember the Alamo)
so since I'll be in the theater for 13 hours, we're gonna be eating bad, since they always run specials (on sodas, bottomless chips/popcorn, etc).
So I"m expecting Sat to be bad eating for sure.

Day 158
Today's weigh-in: 232.5 lbs (+5.5 lbs from last weigh-in, +7.5 from all-time low)
32.5 lbs down / 52.5 lbs to go
Mondays are never pretty after a weekend off diet. I thought I behaved a lot better this weekend, but the scale doesn't think so. No problem. If things go as normal, I'll probably be 229 tomorrow and maybe 226 by Wednesday. Should be no problem to hit a new all-time low this week.
I haven't done body measurements in a long time, so here goes.
Waist: 44.5" (-.5 from 15 days ago), chest: 42.5" (same)
