New week, new assault on 182 pounds, new winter tyres ordered for the bike. Current weight is 182.8, which isn't too bad after a beery birthday party at the weekend.
Retired another 2 pairs of now-too-baggy trousers at the weekend, and also donated 2 too-baggy jackets to charity, though in fairness the jackets were less about weight-loss and more about fashion crimes so heinous that even I noticed (seriously, what were designers thinking in the 80s?? And what was I thinking keeping them for this long?). Hopefully whoever ends up owning them relishes the warmth rather than the style.
Last but not least, I've finally finally booked my gym induction for this week, which will be a mere 959 days after I signed up for membership. <imagine a blushing emoticon here>

I just started back at my gym going twice in the last week.

I have three matches this week; one tomorrow and two on Thursday ... that's all the workout that I need this week. I will remind myself to weigh myself this Thursday.

In my effort to burn off some calories, I did some bench-pressing today with girlie poundages (80-90lbs). I'm trying to work out why that last rep made me pull a muscle in my arse.
3 sets - 8-12 reps. Hoping to get back up to 100lbs by Christmas. Anyone else do a good chest workout? Mr Jez says I make some interesting faces when doing dumbbell flyes.
I bet coldwater doesn't want to see Namor with man-boobs.

5-monthiversary today (based on a derived slightly inexact start date) and a new major milestone. Start weight: 15 stones 10 (220 pounds); today's weight: 13 stones 0.0000 (182 pounds), -38 from start. I'll concede that 182 doesn't sound like a milestone over there in The Land That Proper Counting Schemes Forgot, but over here, hitting a stone marker is a milestone, don'tcha know. This one is the first of the big milestones I set myself when I started, so all in all....
It's Happy Dance time!

Day 173
Today's weigh-in: 231 lbs
It would appear that, even with all my weeks being unable to get back on diet, I haven't done any real harm to my progress. If I can stick to it this time, I could be back to 225 by next week. Yesterday was a little tough, but I got through it. We'll see how today goes.

My weigh in day is Tuesdays
Last week 11-3-15 -212 This week 11-10-15 -211
I went to the gym twice and plan on going today, but my eating is still not disciplined. If I can lose it slowly like some of our other members, I will be satisfied.

Back on the bike today, for the first time since "Terror Thursday". Conditions sort-of ideal - heavy head/cross wind, but roads bone dry, which is what I was looking for, not least as I don't have the wet weather tyres on the bike yet. Pretty slow plod, but just happy to have got going again.
This morning: New low on the weight at 181.6. This evening: induction day at the gym

Day 174
Today's weigh-in: 227 lbs
Yep. I dropped 7 lbs in two days. Salt, water retention, and undigested food.
Back to 225 (my all-time low) by Friday? Yeah, I think so.
