I know we did this on the old forum ten years or so ago but what the heck, I'm curious. (And I don't have a good answer for myself!)

Wally Wood. Unquestionably. He could do absolutely every genre equally well.

I'm enjoying these black and white reprints from Fantagraphics that really show off the art. Wally Wood is also my favorite but it's a really tough decision. What a great roster of talent.

A murderers' row of talent Speaking for myself, I loved em all. When I really started to get into fandom, the EC's were a big part of that. In fact, I spent half of my high school graduation money on getting what I'd so much about : Russ Cochran's Weird Science boxed set. Al Feldstein Harvey Kurtzman Johnny Craig Jack Davis Graham Ingels Jack Kamen Wally Wood Joe Orlando To Be Continued

Since EC published four issues of Fat and Slat in its early days, I'm going to say Ed Wheelan. Cei-U! I summon my contrary nature!

Tough call with that line-up of all-time greats and maybe I haven't yet read enough EC comics in detail to make a definitive judgement, but based on what I have seen, it's a toss-up between Williamson and Wood. If I have to pick one I'll go with Al Williamson, if only because Slam Bradley has already voted for Wally Wood.

I can't ever think of Dave Berg without thinking of National Lampoons devastatingly spot-om MAD parody I can't describe it and do it justice, but if you've ever read it, you know EXACTLY what I'm referring to.
Cei-U! I summon the cryptic comment!

My serious answer, by the way, is Wally Wood, with Jack Davis not far behind.
Cei-U! I summon the past masters!

How much interior work did Frazetta do for EC? I'm just wondering what the odds of him getting a reprint volume from Fantagraphics are.
