If I am not mistaken, this preview was of the first 6 pages of issue #1. So far, the only hero featured was the new Batman, Dick Grayson.
As a big JSA/Earth-2 fan I am just curious, are the rest of you excited about this preview, or a little disappointed?

I really liked the look of Dick's costume and the plot of rebirthing their old world seems interesting so I'm in. |

I'm not disappointed.
Given Batman's popularity, it makes sense why he's the lead feature.
If we saw a bunch of characters in the first 6 pages, I'd feel like it's rushed.
Looking forward to more greatness.

I might be if the 8 page sneak preview included in the Convergence event didn't show others like Power Girl, Flash, Green Lantern, Huntress, and Red Arrow. I don't think this new book is going to focus mostly on Batman. If it does, then I'll be disappointed. |

I am classifying the Earth 2 super-heroes into two teams right now:
Team 1 (pro-Ba- Generator): Huntress, Red Arrow, and Doctor Impossible (I wonder if Mr. Terrific will be a part of this group?)
Team 2 (anti-Bat-Generator): Green Lantern, Power Girl, Flash, and Batman (I wonder if Hawkgirl will be a part of this group?)
I am not sure how Fury, Aquawoman, Superman, Sandman, and Red Tornado will fit into all this. I wonder if Commander Steel will be a part of this book?
That is 14 to 15 masked mystery men that we know of.
I kind of like the idea that, for the time being, each issue is going to focus on a specific individual. It looks like Superman will be the focus of E2S #2 and Red Tornado will be the focus of E2S #3.

Hello Dr. Poison! An Earth 2 based Justice Society would be really nice. Here is how I see the Earth 2 series: Earth 2 - a book about new heroes rising up in the wake of the death of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. It wasn't about the formation of the Justice Society. Earth 2: World's End - a book about heroes doing their best, but failing to prevent the death of their world. It also wasn't about the formation of the Justice Society. Earth 2: Society - a book about the rebuilding of a society on a new planet, and their heroes' roles in this world building. I think that it also is not about the formation of the Justice Society. After two to three years, when DC is looking for a $ales boost, Earth 2: Society will most likely be cancelled and re-titled in favor of a new #1 issue. My guess is that is when we will be able to enjoy...
