there are WAY more options for this one than I would have expected (Wondy, Capt. Marvel, Flash, and even Lois Lane!) .. . . but since I'm going to be on vacation next week, I won't be here for the count anyways . but I'm going to enter anyways, with the gall to say that if I do win, I give it to 2nd place on Tues edit: as my 1st choice while cool was never officially published. . so adjusting my entry to my 2nd choice (which is still only one of TWO Wonder Woman mirror covers!)

Where did it come from? I assume it's some kind of variant.
Great cover, in any case.

you're correct.. I did some digging, and it's an unpublished alternate cover that Colan did. I looked for it based on the title of the story I remembered, and when the cover popped up, I grabbed it not realizing that the true cover is that one of Bats from behind with Robin and Alfred freaking out. I'll change my entry. . but yeah, cool to dig up the story! www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=846427&GSub=66284

when Byrne got a computer. He probably felt he could do it better. I don't think he was wrong.

Maybe this Gil Kane classic will serve as a suitable replacement for bert's original entry, as it riffs on a similar theme:

when Byrne got a computer. He probably felt he could do it better. I don't think he was wrong. Dullest straight up and down layout ever. Zero dramatic effect. That's not drawing, that's drafting.
