I think Marvel already does that with most issues Marvel does this (I think) with every $3.99 book... that's their justification for the price. I think the codes in the comic expire after not too long (maybe 6 months), so you can't buy them from the bins. Some trades have codes, too, but I've not noticed any rhyme or reason to it. At one point on CBR they had a thread for people to trade digital codes from their physical issues (I'll give you my Thor for your Ms. Marvel every month kinda thing)... not sure if that's still there. Unless they changed, the codes are good for a year. -M

I know it's a pipe dream, but I wish they would make it easier than having to enter a code from every single issue. If there was a way for your LCS to register your sub with Marvel or something so you digital sub automatically appears on your Comixology or Marvel or whatever account? Now that would be convenient.

Well there's Comic Blitz that just formed as an alliance/partnership of the smaller publsihers to offer a Netflix type subscription- I mentioned in this post in the print vs. digital thread. The fact these publishers went outside Comixology might indicate there are no plans for something similar on that platform. Image also re-upped with Comixology to do single issues and trades, but no mention of a sub-type service, but also expanded to offer stuff on the Kindle platform via Amazon proper in the new deal, another sign that something like Unlimited from Comixology is not in the works currently or nowhere near debuting. -M
