The artwork in that new Bullseye series looks good, might try it once it's collected, depending on how the writing sounds.
I bought & read the first two issues of Frank Cho's Skybourne: I like it enough that I'll continue one with it but I should done what I'd originally planned and waited until it was collected, because the story seems to be taking its time to get going. Also, there's been quite a gap since the 2nd issue and the 3rd, which still hasn't come out, unless I missed it.
There's been an even longer delay since the latest issue of Cinema Purgatorio, which is probably the comic I currently look forward to the most. The Alan Moore, Garth Ennis, and Kieron Gillan serials are the ones I'm reading this anthology book for; the other two stories haven't really caught my interest as of yet.
Also waiting for the next issue of Richard Corben's Shadows on the Grave, another anthology series but with all stories by Corben; definitely worth a look for Corben fans or horror fans.

Reading some stuff from the library...
Mockingbird Vol. 1 I Can Explain was a fun little book, quick read, but enjoyable.
Scarlet Witch Vol. 1 Witches Road by James Robinson and a host of artists (including Vanessa Del Rey on issue #1 who I really like. I very much liked this. It's the best I have read from Robinson since Leave it to Chance and Starman. His recent stuff had not been my cuppa, but this was a strong effort from him. I really like the direction they are taking with this book.
I am also making my way through the DC Rebirth Omnibus which collects the Rebirth specials for all the series. I've reread the Rebirth 1 shot, which I still think is Johns being hamfisted hack manipulative writer trying to hammer emotional buttons with no grace or subtlety to try to force emotional reactions in the fanbase rather than just tell a story and let the audience react emotionally based on that. Instead of moving, it feels forced and manipulative. I then read the Superman, Batman and WOnder WOman Rebirth specials, which were all meh, Superman was just a big flashback to the Doomsday fight with some poor attempts to parallel it to recent events to make some kid of emotional connection, which again felt as forced and manipulative ad the original Doomsday story did in the 90s, the Batman story was slightly better but never rose above mediocre, and the Wonder Woman special felt a bit disjointed, not Rucka at his best, I expect much better form him and usually get it on his creator-owned stuff. None of these would have inspired me to buy the series had I read them when they came out. Next up is the Flash special, but I am still waiting to be wowed or even slightly impressed with anything related to the Rebirth initiative. I have about 6-8 of the first trades from the library as well as the omnibus, so I plan to give it all a read to see, but the farther I get int it, the more of the same ole same ole Didio/Johns DC I see.

Speaking of Watchmen, I re-read DC Rebirth last night. Still gives me the chills. I've been unsuccessfully trying to catch up on my DC continuity, as I didn't read much from the late 90s until a few years ago. I had planned to read the main events I missed (Infinite Crisis, Final Crisis, a few others I imagine) before diving seriously into Rebirth stuff, but I think I'll just do both concurrently. Especially now that the Rebirth trades are free on Hoopla, think I'll try to become a "current" DC reader again. Started with the Flash volume, Batman and Superman next. You did the right thing. I thought Final Crisis was bad until I read Identity Crisis. It's a "love letter to the Silver Age" for people who don't know what a love letter is or when the Silver Age was. I'm liking Rebirth Batgirl OK, but I LOVE Rebirth Batgirl and the Birds of Prey. Yea birds of prey rebirth has been great Batgirl's new 52 run was better than this rebirth one imo.

I'm only missing about two issues of New 52 Batgirl from #1 to #35 and, yeah, it's a lot of fun, and the material with James Gordon Jr. is a highlight of New 52. (And still pretty much unresolved, as far as I know.) I've read a few issues of the "Batgirl of Burnside" period and I like it enough to get the rest of the run eventually. But I like the earlier issues quite a bit more. Rebirth Batgirl has been OK with some really intriguing concepts in the Far East in the earliest issues. But I can't say I'm particularly enamored of the "Gosh, the son of the Penguin is really cute! Will Batgirl fall for the "bad boy"?" storyline. But the first installment didn't make me puke. So that's encouraging. A little.

Gave Green Lanterns a shot... I really want GL to be good again... I really haven't been able to get into it for any length of time since Johns ruined it with the rainbow nonsense.
Of course, this story is firmly involved there, with the Red Lanterns trying to take over Earth, but that could have been fine, but I just really, really disliked Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz. Simon is like that jock that tries to be a nice kid, but deep down just isn't, only of course he always turns it on when it matters. Jessica is like everything that's wrong with Millenials in one package.. I wanted to smack her upside the head on several occasions. Points for going in an unusual direction, I suppose, but Ugh.
The story itself was ok, if mostly set up. There were a couple things that drove me nuts though, like Simon worrying about a teddy bear for his nephew.. I mean, dude, you're Green Lantern, you can get it later... save the world first.
Then there was this weird time effect... the story seemed to be saying the the world was being infected with rage, and a few panels gave us totals (from the ring) of how many people.. but it would rise quickly on panel... then seem to stop until there was a break in the action.
Then there's the fact that Hal told them to call the Justice League if there was any trouble, and they didn't...did anyone else notice the Red Lantern symbol on the world you could see from space?? Nice visual, but how did the JLA not get involved??
Sadly, it was far from good enough to get any more.

Does anyone read the Hawkeye series ? What's Clints relationship with Kate, are they sleeping with each other or is he a mentor to her? I haven't read the current series, but in the past ones, it's been a "mentor/mentee" relationship, not a sexual one.

Does anyone read the Hawkeye series ? What's Clints relationship with Kate, are they sleeping with each other or is he a mentor to her? I haven't read all of it... but my impression was that they had a one night stand before settling into the mentor/student thing. which quickly ended up being more a partnership. I think that happened a while back though (Before the Fraction/Aja Hawkeye series), and maybe even didn't actually happen, it could just be people think it did.

Don't know if I posted it here or in another thread/board, but I worked my way through the first volume of the Black Monday Murders and I really enjoyed. A pretty dense read where I had to go back to some information given in the first chapter to check how things were supposed to work from time to time but eagerly awaiting more.
In short: there is a connection between the financial world and magic. A small group of hermetic mage bloodlines follow a system where they manipulate the market for financial profit, power and extra years of life, but the system is dangerous and should the market crash, somebody needs to be sacrificed.
