The Ziff-Davis comics have some fantastic painted covers, like this one by Norman Saunders:  However, I can't help noticing that comic book EQ appears to be much more of an action hero than novel EQ. |

Thor and... who is that female? At any rate, they are concerned about the throttling. Iron Man on the other hand seems disgusted by Vision's feet. They either smell bad or perhaps Stark does not approve of those boots. Disapproval of a Romita cover?  I say thee nay!!!! |

. . .she usually referred to herself as "this one" and wanted to jump the Vision's bones. Does The Vision have bones? That might be a bumpy ride.  LOL! I think that wouldn't have deterred her, though--she was quite the acrobat   |

Romita did the floating heads--Thor, Mantis and Iron Man (complete with the then-essential "armor nose", no wonder he got a whiff of Vizh's smelly feet, as pinkfloydsound noted  ! ) and probably did some overall touching up...but that awkward, flailing Vision, Ultron and the rest of the cover are by Starlin. |

Ah I was wondering why I recognized that early of an Avengers cover. I am betting that sits in my collection at home just for the reason Starlin did the cover.
