actually. . wonder if it was the DC version of "the Black Hood" (under the Impact imprint)? not sure I remember it being super gory, but it most definitely was not aimed at kids, as the other Impact books were.

If so, I got it awhile back as a back issue. I don't remember specifics about it, other than the expected Silver Age silliness. I don't know if it's been put away yet, so I'll try to find it and let you know.

Looks like Immortus escaped at the end. homepages.rpi.edu/~bulloj/Doom_Patrol/bb65.html

Actually Red Velvet Pillowhead but I think he changes colors depending on the season or if he's doing a laundry. I need to relate his origin, I've been meaning to. He's a real live NYC vigilante-only patrols my neighborhood My guess is he's about your height and weight, too.

No, first met Pillowhead as a youngster and coincidentally he now lives in my vicinity in Manhattan. But this is not the proper thread to relate the utter awesomeness of the Manhattan Marauding Pillowhead. I'm not sure its thread worthy either but soon, soon possibly in meanwhile... I'll draw back the curtains

I'll draw back the curtains "Untold Tales of Pillowhead"? Sounds like a great back-up series for the New 52 version of Brother Power, the Geek.

Just how strong is Spidey? I remember one issue in the DeFalco/Frenz run where he destroyed a brick chimney (or something similar) by pushing against it to put a dislocated shoulder back in place (don't try this at home, kids!) when he was fighting the Puma.

So instead I'll just contribute a few pics: And later on in the story...

The go-to-scene when it comes to Spider-Man's strength always seems to be that scene in Amazing Spider-Man #33 where he lifts a lot of metal and concrete rubble that lies on top of him. But it is comics so his strength fluctuates a lot.

I found it interesting the way Gargaux departs. In some ways, the series also seemed to be as much about Madame Rouge as the Doom Patrol. It almost does not seem to be a DC comic.

This Brave and Bold story reads like it's a regular Doom Patrol story. The Flash just seems like a guest star and not a co-star. And here's some more of Immortus and his cronies:

Here's a question- I read that Cho is the new Hulk, what happened to Bruce Banner? It was mentioned in a preview they were going to tell us...so I think 2-3 months (not sure if it was the latest one or last months). You know, if they mean it... one never knows with Marvel.
