I like the character but at the same time, something about Lilith's costume didn't quite work for me. Maybe I thought it a bit too superhero-ish for a supernatural character like the daughter of Dracula?

To be honest, I shared this because it's looks really cool and very different and yet; I didn't (catch it, figure of speech) see your reference about being very superhero-ish and all and thanks for pointing that out and I can see why.

Not that I'm sure what they could or should have done to improve it, I must admit: they couldn't really dress her in semi-Victorian costume or whatever, and a modern woman's business suit wouldn't look very threatening either. Maybe a long slit skirt or something? I'm not really all that dead-set against this one, now I look at it again.

I can see that ... good observations.

I just spent about a half-hour scanning thru all 34 pages of this thread. What a lot of fun, sick stuff here! I've been mostly spending my time on Facebook lately, but it's nice to be reminded that deep down, I really prefer "message boards". There are several reasons. For one, there's more of a sense of "permanence". The idea that you can come back to these pages anytime, as opposed to the utterly temporary "rabbit hole" FB provides. For another, if images are included (and boy, are they ever here), you can post them nice and big, making it easy for people to scroll thru and look at them, whereas with FB you have to click on each one to zoom in... or, if it's a link to another site, bring up the full size there. But further, most message boards I've been at have more of an independant feel about them, as opposed to being part of a single monolithic entity with NO way to discuss problems with anyone "in charge". Earlier this week, I found out that FB suddenly considers my MAIN blog to be "SPAM". I can still post links to images-- but not links to entire pages. So I've had to post notifications that if anyone wants to follow the progress of the massive blog project I've been working on for 4-1/2 YEARS, they should get me their E-MAIL address, so I can send the links one-on-one. I haven't spent much time here yet, but if I'm able to do so, I'd like to start a separate thread, just for my project, since ALL the "horror" books I'm doing are connected to a SINGLE topic! And if I do so, I hope nobody here gets offended. All the stories are adaptations of work by a "classic" author....
