When I was in high school Hardee's came to town.
They were far better than any other fast food I'd had.
Yeah, it was weird when Carl's Jr bought them out. I hadn't heard of them until that happened.
As I travel back to the upper Midwest to visit family I see Hardee's again.
That new pretzel breakfast thang is supreme !
Welcome Russ !

We used to have Hardee's in New England in the 70s, or at least in CT. I remember getting a bunch of these Looney Tunes collector's glasses there when I was in elementary school... and kept them until the late 90s when an ex intentionally dropped the box they were in when I was moving (along with the Burger King Star Wars glasses grrrr). By the time I got to jr. high, Hardee's had left Ct, and most of the locations became Roy Rogers. I didn't see another Hardee's until I moved out to Ohio in '03 (though I did see Carl's Jr. when visiting California). I wasn't even aware they were still in operation until I saw them here. -M

I turned my head to ask my wife how much cash she had on her, and a woman slipped up behind me, grabbed the box, and went straight to the table to pay for them.

Wassup y'all! I'm Tom Corsi, aka Pedro de Pacas or James, as occasionally seen on AV Club, The Gentlemen of Liesure, Progressive Ruin or Armagideon Time.
I found this forum largely thru Shaxper. I like Claremont X-Men, Alan Moore, Warren Ellis, Garth Ennis, Grant Morrison, and Neil Gaiman. Pretty much, I like it all, but I try to have taste. I like the DCCW shows, particularly the Flash. In the interests of contributing to this thread, l bring this to an end about now. Thank you.
