I also have two Eagles Greatest Hits cds, and I'm not ashamed. But you only use them as drink coasters, right? I've actually been known to listen to the music contained within. On purpose.

helping out when i can on other folks projects. Including several of mine, which is why I credit zilch at the end of my articles for Roy Thomas. Cei-U! I summon the unnatural resource!

Looks like I may also be the youngest on the board so far at 27. Pretty sure !Pharozonk! is just now graduating from high school, unless I'm confusing him with someone else. Which doesn't rule out his being 27 or older, of course, particularly since (again, unless I'm confusing him with someone else) he's in Texas, but he seems a smart enough tyke.

I'm Laura aka Puma. Joined CBR in 1998 where I mainly stayed on the X Board until the Great Flame War and I ended up on the Comm. I've read comics off and on since I was a kid. Of classic comics I don't collect (except for a few trades) but I enjoy EC. yay Laura! Welcome to the secession! Hi Ryan! I don't read many classic comics but I am hoping to participate in the classic movies (and maybe we can get a classic books thread going).

The way things are at CBRNu52, I can see this being a RITAS safehaven. Herr Weiland crossed the Sudetenland and we had to flee to a new home.

I don't usually do these threads, but y'all are special, so... I'm Wildfire (from my 1st RPG character in college). I ad the 2099 as necessary. I use the same alias all over so if you see me around, say hello My real name is Joe, I run a small book store for psychiatrists. I'm 38, and came to comics late (just before zero hour), as my parents had no interest. My collection currently is 25 sorted long boxes and probably 2 more in the to read and to sort piles, along with 2 big bookcases full of trades and manga. I have 3 daughters and a wonderful, tolerant wife that reads the occassional book. When I'm not here, I can be found reading, playing board games, watching sports (sometimes all at once) or hanging with my girls.

I've heard this category before about people: You're either an Eagles person or a Fleetwood Mac person. Curious to hear if that is true.

Can you imagine living in such a world? It would be like having two choices of ice cream: vanilla or vanilla with extra beans.

I've gone all elitist in terms of 70's rock and basically only listen to stuff like Roxy Music, Brian Eno, Television, Talking Heads, etc, now. I hit a wall with a lot of the uber-mainstream stuff (even the good stuff like The Who and Zeppelin) and rarely listen to it anymore. For some reason, this doesn't apply to The Beatles or The Stones. I guess they're too elemental for that to apply.
