Hi I call myself Coinkadink but my real name is Chris Jones. I'm an amateur comic artist and I have my own characters and stories and they all take place in the 50s. I love old comics 40s thru 80s mainly but mostly 60s marvel and DC. Anyway great site here.

Here's a pic I did. I wanted to post my art here but Iguess I have to have substantial posts before I can. I don't believe so. We have a whole "Fan Art & Fan Fiction" sub-forum where you're most welcome to start a thread for your own artwork. That's a mighty impressive piece of art, BTW. EDIT: Thinking about it, I think you have to have made three posts before you can start a thread. It's an anti-spamming thing. |

I wanted to post my art here but Iguess I have to have substantial posts before I can. coinkadink deviantartIf you were trying to attach the picture directly, you wouldn't have been able to, and neither can anyone else- our site now prohibits members from using direct attachments because there is a space limit how much can be added to the site by Proboards and parcelling it out fairly and deleting stuff when the limit was being approached was a hassle. You can however upload links of your pics to display them any time you like using any kind of image hosting site. -M |

It say's I can't post a thread in the artwork section. I need to just post in the regular forums for a while anyway. I'm sure it will be accessable eventually.

I have been running a facebook group called #ComicBookPhilosophers and started the group because I got tired of the shallow conversations on other comic forums, when these stories have significant social, political, and spiritual impact. Jeff Heller posted some of the articles and podcasts here, and I enjoyed the in-depth discussions on my favorite topic. I just recently set up a youtube channel, but have not uploaded any videos yet for ComicBookPhilosophers, but none the less, it is good to see I am not alone on the internet. If there is any helpful advice anyone can give in getting this project running solid, it is appreciated.
