That's a strange way of spelling "Astro City". Omega Men is the best in universe book that DC is producing, in my opinion. It started out great, and it gets better by the issue. Astro City isn't DC, it's Vertigo I really hated the art on Omega Men, and the fact that they started the story by killing Kyle Rayner pretty much made it a non-starter for me. Besides Batgirl and Gotham Academy, I'm pulling Teen Titans (which I like, but is seriously meandering)... I may get Midnighter (we'll see how issue 3 is)... Starfire.. Cyborg (though I may not continue him... I don't like that he's not a Titan anymore)... that's about it. I tried most of the 'DCYou' books, but that's really all that's grabbed me enough to pay for. I'm not reading Omega Men: please tell me Kyle's not dead.

It's comic book death, dying for mainstream big 2 super-heroes is about as dangerous as the common cold, and lasts about as long. -M

You may want to reconsider Omega Men if you can get past the art. Kyle's not dead. He's their prisoner. It was a ruse to draw the attention of the GL Corp towards Vega, which had previously been a no-go zone due to a treaty, but since the only GL left in the universe is a fugitive Hal Jordan, it hasn't worked.
I really like Midnighter, but it's a lot better when ACO is the artist. Cyborg, like Wonder Woman, stikes me as the other epitome of New 52-ness-- the art is very pretty, but the story is very cookie-cutter and middle-of-the-road, something I didn't expect from David Walker, whose Shaft was one the best books of the part year.

It was a ruse to draw the attention of the GL Corp on to the Vega System. One of the themes of the book seems to be Stockholm Syndrome, as Kyle is still very much opposed to the Omega Men as their prisoner, but his resistance is starting to slip as he sees all the atrocities commited by the Citadel. It's expected that he will join the Omega Men as "The Green Man"

That actually makes even less sense.
