Imus was #1 in morning radio among my friends in high school. We listened every day if we could. RIP to The Right Rev. Billy Sol Hargis, pastor of the First Church of the Gooey Death and Discount House of Worship in Del Rio, Texas, the gold buckle of the Bible Belt. I still remember that schtick from 1971.

Just saw that Neil Innes has died at the age of 75. For those who may not know, he was a songwriter who did a lot of work for Monty Python, and also co-created (with Eric Idle) the Rutles parody band.

Visual concept artist Syd Mead has passed away at the age of 86.He worked on such films as Blade Runner (and its sequel), Tron, Aliens, Star Trek: The Motion Picture and Strange Days among many others. RIP Good Sir.
