Yeah, RIP to Sonny Corleone, Paulie Walnuts and Larry Storch - and since the Saturday morning Ghost Busters show came up with reference to the latter, I have to say that I *loved* that show as a kid, mainly because of Storch's character, Spencer, and Tracy (the gorilla) and the way they played off of each other.

Larry Storch was still doing stand-up as late as last year! I own the complete F Troop series on DVD, and it's every bit as funny as I thought it was as a tyke. It wouldn't have been half as good without Larry's Cpl. Agarn.
Cei-U! I summon the men of Fort Courage!

James Hampton (Private Dobbs), who died last year, was the penultimate surviving cast member.

Good to hear. I remember liking it a lot as a very small kid so I look forward to watching it again some day.

Character actor LQ Jones has passed away, at 94. He played a local political fixer, in Las Vegas, in Casino, as well as 3-Fingered Jack, in The Mask of Zorro, a bounty hunter, in the Wild Bunch and roles in things like A Boy and His Dog, Major Dundee, Hang 'Em High, and all kinds of tv westerns and cop shows. He was also a navy veteran and was a college roommate of Davy Crockett, Fess Parker.

Jones adopted his screen name (his birth name was Justus Ellis McQueen Jr.) from the name of the character he played in his big screen debut: Private L.Q. Jones in 1955's Battle Cry.

Ivanna Trump dead at 73 from an apparent fall. They were pretty quick in ruling out heart attack or stroke but maybe rich people get autopsies in 5 hours?

RIP to noted Mexican cultural photographer Lordes Grobet. Grobet was an artist, who trained in several disciplines, but came to photography in the late 70s. She was part of an influential group of photographers, Consejo Mexicano de Fotografia (Mexican Council of Photography). She spent much of her time documenting the people and the struggles of the indigenous groups in Mexico, such as the Mayan descendants, as well as the culture of Mexico's version of pro wrestling, lucha libre. She went beyond just shooting the luchadores at the matches or in typical poses; she also documented their outside lives, with family and other pursuits, showing them as people, beyond the arena... She became friends with noted stars, such as El Santo, Blue Demon, Mil Mascaras, Los Brazos (3 brothers, who all wrestled, including the most famous, Brazo de Plata), and Perro Aguayo Jr and his group, Los Perros del Mal

Just saw this. I never read much of his 2000 AD stuff, but his tenure on the Batman books was one of my favorites. RIP Mr. Grant. -M
