Attorney, politician and fantastic character actor Fred Thompson died today. I loved him in Law and Order. So do I, and I loved him in Secretariat as Bull Hancock - one of his recent films.

RIP Scott Weiland, former frontman of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, dead at 48 LA Times article . -M Certainly not a surprise, but I'm still sad... STP really helped get me through High School and College. It's so sad so many ultra talented and creative musicians need drugs so badly, and so few overcome it.

Nicholas Smith dies. Famous for the BBC show "Are you being served?" I'm a huge fan of that show and I wished my local stations carry it again and I watched it faithfully for 7 years on Sunday Nights and it's one of those rare British Shows that I loved. Nicholas Smith was a favorite of mine so was the rest of the cast and they all worked so beautifully together.

From an email list I'm on: "Sandi Zinaman, inker/artist Dan Green's wife and Jeff Jones' model for his NatLamp Idyl and much more, has passed away." www.tributes.com/obituary/show/Sandi-Zinaman-103078206"Sandi was a graduate of the High School of Art and Design whose work encompassed collages and delicate line drawings. Eventually, though, she turned from making art to inspiring the art of others—most notably Jones, who used her as a model for his "Idyl" series in National Lampoon magazine, and her husband, Dan Green, a soon-to-be artist for DC and Marvel comics whom she met at a New Year's eve party in pre-hipster Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Sandi and Dan moved up to the mid-Hudson Valley in 1973"

Hitch-hiked her way across the U.S.A. Plucked her eyebrows on the way Shaved her legs and then he was a she She said, hey babe, take a walk on the wild side, Said, hey honey, take a walk on the wild side.
