RIP to Kenneth Cope, who has died at the age of 93. Among other things, he played Marty Hopkirk in Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) (released in the US as My Partner, The Ghost), one of many great shows produced by ITC Entertainment.
Hopkirk was a private investigator killed during a case, but he returned as a ghost to assist his partner, Jeff Randall (Mike Pratt).

We've lost another creator from the comics community way too young. Karl Moline, co-creator series like Fray and Route 666, has passed at age 51.

I'm old enough to remember this show, a favourite when I was still a pretty young kid.
As often happens in these cases, I'm taken by surprise to see that it was in colour, having unconsciously assumed it was a black and white show all these years.

RIP to actor and race driver Chad McQueen, son of Steve McQueen and who played Dutch, of the Cobra Kai, in the original Karate Kid. He was 63, but outlived his father, who passed away at age 50, from cancer.
The Cora Kai tv producers engaged in talks with him a couple of times, to do the series, but his racing schedule was an issue. In the series, Dutch is mentioned as being in prison.

Guitarist and singer Tito Jackson, of the Jackson 5 and the Jacksons, has died at 70. www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c2kddp5x5znoTito was a damn good all-round guitarist, though he rarely played on the Jackson 5's early recordings because they were made using Motown's in-house session musicians. When the band were out on tour though, he got to show that he could play with some chops, as heard on the live album In Japan! By the late '70s, once the band had signed with Epic Records and gained full artistic control over their music, you could hear his funk-style playing and acoustic finger-picking on the Jacksons' Destiny and Triumph albums from 1978 and 1980 respectively (which featured the hits "Blame It on the Boogie", "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground), and "Can You Feel It?"). Tito's part in the Jackson's and Michael Jackson's success story shouldn't be underestimated. If he hadn't taken to surreptitiously borrowing his father Joe Jackson's electric guitar as a child and playing songs with his brothers, while his father was out at work, the Jackson 5 would likely never have formed.

Well said, and fully agree with you on Tito as a guitar player. Very sad to hear this, RIP Tito

Singer-songwriter JD Souther, who wrote or co-wrote some of my favorite country-rock classics, has passed away at 78.
Cei-U! I summon the stilled voice!

R.I.P. to British actor David Graham who has passed away at the age of 99. While you may not know his name, you almost certainly know his voice. He voiced the Daleks for much of classic Doctor Who (and the two Peter Cushing movies); was the voices of Gordon Tracy, Brains, Parker and Kyrano on Thunderbirds, and returned to voice Parker on the recent Thunderbirds are Go series; and was the voice of Grandpa Pig on Peppa Pig.

RIP to James Thorogood, brother of cartoonist Zoe Thorogood, who took his own life at age 23. Zoe struggles with depression and suicidal thoughts was documented in her award-winning graphic novel It's Lonely at the Centre of the Earth. James featured prominently in that account as well.
Take a moment to check in on the ones you love. You never know who just needs ot hear a friendly voice say hi, I'm thinking of you.
