Oh no, John Herd died! ... He's in his early 70's. He did a great job in Home Alone Movies, loved him in Sharknado, did quite well in CSI Miami playing a lawyer and a Father to Calleigh Duquesne. Great Character ...

Oh no, Stan Lee lost his wife and dear friend in less than a month and he must be heartbroken and this is a blow to him and his friends at Marvel Comics. I met her once at a speaker convention and she is one of the true pioneers for Women in the World of Comics. A fascinating lady and loves talking to people. I could listen to her for hours ... literally!

My favorite Sam Shepard role was as Chuck Yeager, in The Right Stuff. Really captured the legendary calm of the man and how good of a pilot he was.
Meanwhile, the world of cinema has also lost French actress and icon Jeanne Moreau, of Jules & Jim, the Lovers; and, later, La Femme Nikita. My first exposure was Nikita, where she plays the older agent who mentors Nikita and teaches her to use her femininity as a weapon, which also opens her up to find love. It's a small role; but, she commanded the screen in their scenes.
(Kirby, I love that film!)

RIP to the Rhinestone Cowboy, Glen Campbell. The first vinyl lp I ever got was a Glenn Campbell Greatest Hits album in like 1974 or '75. It was a Christmas present from an aunt.
