In 2004 I helped Matt Baker's nephew get connected with the comics historian commmunity. The interviews with him and with Matt's brother that appeared in Alter Ego and in the recent TwoMorrows book about Matt Baker were direct results of this connection. When the nephew first went online, he wasn't sure if anyone remembered or cared about his uncle; I was one of the first to tell him and show him that lots of people do.

I've also had a couple of scans printed in Alter Ego - one was a hidden message in a Thongor story that Roy hadn't noticed when it was originally published, and one was the splash page of Steve Englehart's last published story as an artist, early in his career.
