I just came across this horror for the first time. It makes Liefeld look like Da Vinci. At least his characters have some sort of skeletal structure.
What other horrors lurk within the pages of innocent looking comics?

Is that actually Ramos on a really bad day, or someone failing horribly to mimmick him?

It looks like something in fun-house mirror, so if that's not what it is, then that is some really bad art!

I'm not sure which to be more horrified at: melted Spider-Man or that they actually had a "Lady Stilt-Man" character.

On the other hand, if they wanted to make a new, gender-swapped version of a villain, aren't there a lot of less lame ones than Stilt-Man?

... It's actually not a bad drawing : it is pretty coherant stylewise and anatomy-wise. Heavily stylized, sure, but not a bad drawing. Is it Eric Canete?

Some gender swapped character's names seem to make sense. Spiderwoman or Spidergirl, as oppose to Lady Spiderman, comes to mind. It just seemed weird to leave the "man" part on there and preface it with "lady". It's not like Lady Bullseye, as the name doesn't already denote the gender of the character. Just seems that it's a bit lazy. Or redundant maybe? But then I guess so is gender swapping. To the OP's point, not knowing the context, it does seem a bit exaggerated. But I do like some artists that exaggerate. If anything I think Spiderman's face/head in the big panel looks likes it's been distorted.

There is at least one extra joint in each knee & elbow, the outline of the face under the mask looks like a horse, his butt looks like two bags of wet sand, and what I presume to be his left arm crossing in front of his body actually looks like a tiny monkey arm sprouting from his head. The rest of his body is ok, I guess, for an octogenarian.

It's cartoony and distorted, but its consequent in its own logic. I didn't say I like it though, but in a thead entitled "Worst drawn comicbook panel of all time", it's really out of place and reeks of fanboy hate I'm sure 95% of early 90ies marvel titles are filled from start to finish with worse than this.

If you are offering the above as a nominee of Worst Panel Ever, I can assure you that it will garner some support. This thread is looking like the slate of Republican candidates. All tied for Worst Ever. PS: Is that big galoot in the top of the panel a parade balloon? To paraphrase Ronnie Reagan, "Where's the rest of him?"

Kind of looks like Scott Morse - I know he's done some short mainstream projects for his buddies, but I can't imagine he'd come to Marvel to crap out assembly line Spider-man comics. And as I've said before I'd be quite happy if comic art would move towards the more abstract side of the spectrum - I always look at the interplay between comics and visual art, and the whole thing seems fairly stagnant and boring right now. Plus it's fun to see you guys freak out and gnash your teeth whenever anything is even remotely off-proportion.
