... I enjoy "Returns" farmore than "Batman" as a movie. The Penguin was original, Catwoman was great, and Batman was desperate. I find "Batman" almost as Kitsch as Joel Schumacher's entries (but its much more enjoyabale, i'll give you that )

Yeah, I think I like the first Michael Keaton Batman the best, as well. Christian Bale came off as unlikable, to me.

Michael Keaton is Roger Moore and Christian Bale is Daniel Craig. Yeah, the new Bond movies are damn good movies, but Craig is dull as a butterknife IMO. Moore's Bond movies were campy, but way more enjoyable IMO.

The first 3 Bond flicks (Dr. No, From Russia with Love, and Goldfinger) are hands down the best movies in the franchise if you ask me.

All the Connery films are entertaining, but I have a soft spot for Diamonds are Forever.

So Burton and DeVito's vile, carnal, hater didn't go well with me. I guess it's the same as why people like particular movie portrayals of Batman or Joker. Though I would like to see a movie portrayal of Penguin like The Animated Series.

Eh, I didn't care for Keaton's 'I'm whispering' Batman voice. If youtube was around in 89 we'd have seen parodies where people would be constantly telling Batman to speak up. And I hated how he smiled as he casually killed people.
Then he melts when Catwoman says 'I'm a woman.' God that was pathetic.

All the Connery films are entertaining, but I have a soft spot for Diamonds are Forever.Definitely Connery's worst Bond film but it does have one my favorite quotes of the entire francise. Plenty O'Toole: "Hi, I'm Plenty." James Bond: "But of course you are." Plenty O'Toole: "Plenty O'Toole." James Bond: "Named after your father perhaps? " ―Plenty introduces herself to Bond. Lana Wood would've made a MUCH better Bond girl than Jill St. John. Case starts out a smart Bond girl, capable of handling herself, but by the end of the film she devolves into an idiot fretting about useless things. Her role in the third act of the film is particularly frustrating as she messes up Bond’s plan more than once whenever she tries to help. Whenever I watch the Bond films I always tend to skip this one.

Yeah, it wasn't as tight as the other Connery films but it has a soft spot in my heart.don't tell me you didn't like Bambi and Thumper?

All the Connery films are entertaining, but I have a soft spot for Diamonds are Forever.I like it too. I much prefer Dr. No or You Only Live Twice or From Russia with Love (the scene with Lotte Lenya is my favorite Bond fight scene. 007! Look out for Jenny Diver!) But Diamonds Are Forever is so crazy! Yeah, you can roll your eyes and smirk and yell "just kill yourself, Plenty O'Toole!" as much as you want, but it's never boring. Charles Gray as Blofeld. Lana Wood. The crazy Vegas car chases. Circus Circus! (I always expect him to run into Dr. Gonzo and his attorney, who run away because they think 007 is a lizard.) The moon-lander chase. Jill St. John is hilarious! The gay assassins. I also love the fact that Bruce Cabot and Sid Haig are in the same movie. Jack Driscoll (from King Kong) and Ralph (from Spider-Baby) are in the same movie!

I think the Nolan Batman films are uniformly pretty bad. And they get worse with each successive film.

I've said this before but I find the concept of the original Captain Marvel more than a little creepy: the power of the gods in the hands of a twelve year old boy? Given the level of impulse control of children at that age this is a disturbing thought, like a machine gun in the hands of a child soldier. The standard response is that he has the Wisdom of Solomon to guide him, but somehow doesn't allay my feelings. I've come to dislike the Hulk for similar reasons: immense physical strength combined with the intellect of a child prone to temper tantrums? Not something to feel good about, it seems to me. Captain Marvel should have remained a 'Golden Age' character. The whole 'Billy Batson, boy newscaster' thing was absurd in the Bronze Age. As for the Hulk, the constant third-person references, and 'cute nicknames' for everybody were a turnoff. I really enjoyed Peter David's 'back to basics' approach, and even the 'Joe Fixit' and 'Professor' personalities were better than the "puny everything" shtick.

I think the Nolan Batman films are uniformly pretty bad. And they get worse with each successive film. Now, you've done it. The Christopher Nolan Cult will be along any minute to take you to the Re-Education Camp for two or three weeks. ALL HAIL DEAR LEADER! DISSENT IS TREASON! SUBMIT! COMPLY! ASSIMILATE! "THE DARK KNIGHT": GREAT MOVIE OR GREATEST MOVIE? "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES" DID NOT SUCK! SAY IT SAY IT SAY IT! But don't worry. When I'm released from the Re-Education Camp, it only takes me a few weeks of watching the Adam West TV show before my brain starts working again. ALL HAIL DEAR LEADER!
