These are all really great and offer some terrific insight. When I went with Dagwood, I was just superficially riffing on my love of sandwiches and naps on the sofa. Additional scrutiny reveals more: I'm married to a sensible blonde, I have a dopey little dog, I'm pretty lazy and self-centered, and I loathe my job, particularly my irate, bullying blowhard of a boss.
Sheesh, I'm more Dagwood than Dagwood.

I've always seen myself as Ditko's Peter Parker, for the same reasons many do. Perhaps not as smart. And no spider-powers. But at least as funny. And with that similar social awkwardness and a desire to do some good combined with an inability to seemingly do anything right.

Noble answer, my namesake. Correct and realistic answer Pip. Alcohol and women remain my two favorite things in life. Cant see past the avatar mate, that's you for good now...Ms Page.

I get told, somewhat frequently, that I look like Clark Kent/Superman. I think it's the glasses. This really started when I started exercising around 2007, which was the same year I started wearing glasses for the first time.

I suppose Cyclops from X-Men comes close personality-wise, especially before the '90s (but not in terms of ditching his girlfriends). I can be a bit of a by-the-book stick-in-the-mud, I generally have poor people skills in an informal setting, but on the other hand I can get passionate when I have a goal I want to achieve. I used to be a perfectionist, but not to a fault. In recent years, I've tried to become a bit more spontaneous, although you probably wouldn't tell.

In recent years, I've tried to become a bit more spontaneous, although you probably wouldn't tell. I can't speak for my fellows, but knowing the value of a secret, I certainly wouldn't tell. Your candor is appreciated Mormel, and I think you're in excellent company here.
