He also worked on the Paradox feature in Bizarre Adventures ... I was very disappointed in the step down from Val Mayerik, myself. But then I might be expected to be picky in this area.

Doing a little of my own thread necromancy; I stumbled onto this one today when looking for something else, and decided to put in my 2 cents since I'm fond of Vosburg's work in some things. I should note that - as Mormel pointed out in at the top of the thread - Vosburg tended to not like superhero work and, in my opinion, invested the bare minimum effort, so often his art in those books (like, say, the original She Hulk series) looks pretty dire. However, when he was interested in a project, he produced some really nice work. A case in point is the short-lived sword & planet series Starfire published by DC in 1976/77: Here's a sample page of original art from Vosburg's own site: (he's one of those rare artists whose work meshes well with Vince Colletta's inks) Another labor of love for Vosburg was Sisterhood of Steel, another short-lived series (like Starfire, it also only lasted for 8 issues) published by Marvel/Epic in the mid-1980s: He did the complete art here. You can find more information and samples of his art, including paintings, at his personal site, vozart.com. He also has a blog, vozwords, although he hasn't posted anything new there since 2019. However, it's worth going through the archives, as he has a number of interesting posts, not only about his own art and career, but also about other artists who either influenced him or with whom he worked (and he posted many lovely images). The vozcomix link at his main site is also worth checking out - it features several of his own comics that he did over the past decade or so.

EdoBosnar It doesn't have Vosburg art, but there was a follow up to Sisterhood of Steel done a few years later, an OGN from Eclipse in 1987 written by Marx but with a different artist. -M

Yes, that's another one of those books I know about, but have never read (and would really like to, since I rather liked the original Epic series).

I enjoyed his adventure material work and he did a nice job on the Howard Chaykin's American Flagg reboot of the series, when Chaykin came back to it. He sort of aped Chaykin's style, but there was some of him, too. Lori Lovecraft is great fun.
