This is very good and loved the flow of words and the last panel ... it's priceless!

This is so funny junkmonkey -- thanks for the great punchline at the end! Thank you. It's been a while since I finished anything because I've been stuck in a two page strip ( Harry Dean Stanton's Mysterious World) that wasn't working. The gag is good but something went wrong with the drawing and I got dispirited. It's taken me me a couple of weeks to realise I wasn't going to fix it it by endlessly tweaking the edges of something that needed ripping up and starting again. So I've abandoned it and today found this one, half-finished, in an obscure folder (I guess I had abandoned it months ago for similar reasons). I finished it in an afternoon and rewrote the punchline. I must dig out the script I wrote about the Garden of Eden. It's a five page conversation between the Archangel Michael and an earthworm. Neil Gaiman gave me the idea. (Not personally right enough - but I did have the idea while I was reading a Sandman comic and it sounds good.)

This is great! Does this get published someplace? (apologies if I missed that info) Thanks for liking it. From time to time when I have some spare cash (and the time) I put together a comic (usually A5 sized) and get a hundred or so printed up. I'm at work on one at the moment putting some of the black and white strips together so I have something new on the table at the next con - MCM in Glasgow in September. At the moment the book is called Tales of the Unaccepted! due to the number of strips in it that languished in slush piles before getting rejected. But that may change due to the fact that it is really really crap USP*. "Buy this comic! It's full of stuff other people didn't want to publish!" *Unique Selling Point.

Hilarious! Can we see Space Elvis and the Green Nuisance? There are a couple of Space Elvis strip further up in this thread somewhere. I'm not sure who the Green Nuisance is yet.

Thanks; I did make my way back a few pages and 'met' Space Elvis. You've got some great ideas here!
