Man, now I really want some fried fish. We are on a health kick recently after eating and drinking our quarantine and existential stress away in 2020. My least favorite part of any "diet" is always feeling hungry. I am just generally trying to eat healthier, whole foods and not on any specific "diet" or explicit calorie limit. The healthier foods tend to be more filling anyway, so naturally take care of the calorie limit.
All that said, whatever I am doing today isn't cutting it because I want to eat a plate of fried fish and a burger.

Hence, "600-Pound Housewives and their 90-Day Hoarder Fiancés Visit Dr. Pimple-Popper after Sex Sent Them to the ER." Oh, they're making a documentary about Alabama now? Hey! I resemble that remark!
Also, speaking of the British Monarchy....

Royal Family shenanigans interest me as much as the Kardashians....they are both equally a waste of my time.
Don't mind the Queen on my pound notes though....
Luckily I live in a bit of Britain that doesn't have the queen on its notes.

Most everybody likes hearing what they want to hear. It’s listening that humans seem to tend to be bad at. That’s why “cancel culture”, “political correctness” and “telling it like it is” are just clay molded into whatever suits the person using them.

I've gotten so sick of people online saying "yikes!" about everything they find upsetting when there's so many other words out there that they can use

"Gadzooks!" is a favourite of mine, thanks to comics.

That it’s used as a passive aggressive dismal of actual debate while at the same time trying to insult the person their addressing’s opinion without a thought out rebuttal says a lot about those types of people. And it’s really specific to that word’s usage online.

My preferred mono-syllabic exclamation word is considered impolite in most public settings, so I don't use it as much as I would like to. I don't want to have to explain to grandma where the kids learned it. I've gotten so sick of people online saying "yikes!" about everything they find upsetting when there's so many other words out there that they can use

And it’s really specific to that word’s usage online. I can't argue that it's not over-used, but I think at least in some of those situations the yikes is used when it is abundantly clear that the person they are responding to is so drunk on the Kool-Aid involved and so far down the rabbit hole that they wouldn't recognize reason or logic if it kicked them in the left butt cheek.

I agree in some instances it very well is that. One of the reasons I left another forum over a year ago was because I finally got tired of debating with people that would just simply respond with "yikes", "lol", or "lmao" and not add anything of value to the discussion. Because if I were in the reverse roll and saw someone post something that's so far down the rabbit hole I would just not respond to them at all. Thankfully that is not an issue here with this community.

Or both. Very glad that isn't the case here.

And honestly the chance of having a meaningful dialogue with the individual who wrote it is almost always perilously close to zero. Some thoughts simply deserve laughter.
