My Avatar for the Month of May
I made this avatar for the Month of May and I'm having it up right now to honor all Veterans that served our Country and I understand that we have international members and please forgive me for putting this up today for that reason alone. In vast confines of the internet and I spend a lot of time in the internet and found appropriate icons that I can used for this special avatar to honor all veterans and I used Army Ranks for that purposes. I have many friends that serve in the US Army from 1950 to Present Day and this avatar will be taken down on June 1st. Thank You Veterans for your sacrifices to keep my country safe and strong. I salute all veterans US Army, US Air Force, US Navy and Marines, and other branches such as Coast Guards and Reserves from all walk of life.

I have no issue with the fruit itself. I even will drink pineapple soda when I run across it. But the dishes people put that stuff in.....no. Pineapple soda is a bit sweet for me, but tasty. Fresh pineapple is also awesome, and delicious in many dishes including sweet and sour chicken or pork, pineapple chicken, and, yes, Hawaiian pizza. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a can of pineapple juice waiting in the fridge. My taste buds are quite adamant about sweet and salty mixing, with the exception of chocolate and peanuts and/or peanut butter. So that and that sweet and sour chicken (that my mother made a lot when I was young) with actual pineapples in it, probably doesn't help their case.

iTunes has to be the least Mac-like application out there. Whatever possessed Apple to give up on the tried and true drag-and-drop approach? "Sync"? "SYNC"? Syncope, yeah.
There! I said it.

Hawaiian pizza is disgusting. I'm agreeing with Ish Kabbible and Slam Bradley, the end is nigh.

We had a National Referendum(vote) on whether or not to change our national Flag recently. I voted against as my grandfather fought in WW2 under our flag, and IMHO it was disrespectful to all those who bled and died to give us the freedoms we take for granted so easily. So even though we arent American, Ive always admired the way you honor those who serve... We've just observed ANZAC Day here(commemorates the times Australia and New Zealand have served together)and they always show a famous poem written about the thousands killed at Gallipoli in WW1. The best/nicest thing is they always finish with "LEST WE FORGET". Sorry my long winded way of saying it doesnt matter the nationality, honoring those who have fought for us is a great thing.

Regardless of country or nationality, brave men and women have served their citizens with honor and distinction all over the world, and deserve to be remembered for that. Glad to hear that New Zealand realizes that. Sadly the US has not always had a good record on that point.

For the Record:
When I see a Serviceman/Servicewoman regardless of branch of service and in uniform of what they wear and regardless of their rank that they acquired - I take a brief moment or two and say thanks for your service and also thanks them for taking a brief minute or two of my time thinking of them. This means a lot to them and I do the same with the veterans that wears those special hat of service too. I just wanted to share that with all of you because it's important for me to remind them and I do it with great sincerity.

It sucks when message boards drive people away.

It sucks when message boards drive people away. Usually it's bad behavior by individuals that drive people away. Although, in the case of CBR, you are right.

I love the TV show" Rules of Engagement". Two very hot females and risky adult humor makes this a great rerun show to watch.
There. I said it.

A radio commercial, running for years, that bugs me
I listen often to WFAN- a all-sports radio station and for many years, especially late at night, they run this commercial at least once an hour
It's from a lawyer's firm and it's asking cops to sue the city quickly if they get hurt on the job, such as an accident with a stapler at the station, getting splinters when bashing someone's head in with their baton, spilling their hot coffee on a donut run because their car didn't have adequate mufflers and on and on.
Of course, suing the city means taking money from taxpayers and helping the ambulance-chasing shysters get their 30% or more of the settlement.

Here's another radio commercial, from the same station and played on many others. It's been running for mabe 10 years, seemingly multiple time an hour and is driving me bonkers
We got this big problem in NYC with little kids driving donated cars and smashing into the police who then promptly sue the city. Personally, I'd like to donate a kid to get a free car
This ad off shot has begun to run too

If all you do is complain about comics, you're not a fan of comics, you're a fan of complaining.
