Anyone who uses the term "sheeple" is utterly vapid and it's a complete waste of time to engage them with anything but scorn and derision. Agreed. And while on the subject of vapid and completely effed out things, can I add anyone making the oh so brilliant comparison between God and Santa clause? Huh? Is that because they both know who's naughty and who's nice? Haven't heard that one much but I'd also include my 2nd grade teacher who was in the know

"Sheeple" would depend on the context, for me. I haven't seen the word enough to know how it's usually meant - is it habitually used by the powerful to denigrate the masses? Then I'd agree with Slam.
It is true that human beings are subject to herd mentality sometimes and that this can have some very bad things happening. But the most important instance of this to me in our times is the market forces that we are supposed to believe will always lead to the optimum outcome for everyone. When the stock market can take dangerous falls and rises because of baseless rumours, that's an example of our so-called élites acting as sheep in a way that can have devastating consequences for everyone.

I generally find that it means "someone disagrees with me."

In my experience, it's usually used by either conspiracy theorists ("of course, the sheeple can't see that Obama's Illuminati masters bombed the twin towers") or radical politico-warriors ("the military-zionist-capitalist boss-class will never be overturned while the sheeple are content to live on their crumbs... ")

I hope Members here has already turn their "Clocks" back one hour before retiring for the Night. It's Daylight Savings Time Again and it's Fall Back ...

I stopped drinking coca-cola for over a month now, and although I thought I'd miss it, I don't.
Love peardrax though yummy.

At some point in time, for no apparent reason, I lost the desire to drink soda of any sort. It's been years now since I requested one

I stopped in the military, while trying to get my weight down, switching to diet. After that, I couldn't stomach sugared sodas. I do maybe 2-3 a week now, keeping my weight around 136-138 which is good for my height 5ft 9. Although I just know I'll gain about 5 lbs over Christmas but that ham is mine.
