I'm hoping she isn't mad at me for posting this, but I wanted to report that Lolatadatodo and I have had a wonderful conversation through PM the past couple of days and have resolved the conflict between us from further up this thread. Reconciliation, forgiveness, and being able to be open and honest with one another are wonderful things. There. I said it, gladly and gratefully. Nope, not mad at all! I am glad we were able to discuss and explain our stances to each other. It always helps to be able to discuss, respectfully, different views, so that we can understand where the other is coming from. Thank you for having an open mind and listening to/reading me.

Well this lady's alleged discovery scared me off their chicken... I'm a KFC fan. I had no idea it was anything close to real chicken, just amazingly delicious Soylent Green.

How did I miss the memo that winter cold fronts will now be referred to as "Polar Vortexes"? When did this notice become effective? Are summer heat waves now called "Equatorial Vortexes'?

How did I miss the memo that winter cold fronts will now be referred to as "Polar Vortexes"? When did this notice become effective? Are summer heat waves now called "Equatorial Vortexes'? Rather than just saying "it's forking cold outside", we have to give it an identifier so that The Weather Channel can blather on about it endlessly. It's the same concept as giving names to winter storms, rather than just saying that we're getting a metric crap-ton of snow.
